Thursday, February 28, 2008 . 5:30 PM

Tuesday was spent with smelly turtle and young.
Both of them woke me up at 230pm!! (I WAS STILL SLEEPING SOUNDLY CAN!)
Headed down to Bishan Junction 8 to have fishball noodles for lunch.
After which, we spent almost 15 bucks trying to catch one of the seven little dwarf at the arcade.
HAHA! This reminds me of my childhood days...
And i got pulled into the train. Followed them to WOODLANDS. Dear young went over to coffeeshop to find her bf while smelly turtle wants to try the western food at the coffeeshop!
Supposed to be home before 8pm but i ended up reaching home at 930pm! SHAG!

Wednesday was "feeling rich" day. :)
"Let's have high tea and shopping" - Quoted by SABRINA!
Supposed to meet MR POLICEMAN but because i got the interview dates wrongly, i told him to meet another day. (Sorry jeff)
Met sabby and tanweishan at Bugis. And we machaim like some rich "tai tais" like that.
Had my first meal of the day at Terra Cafe. Fish N Chips + Tom Yum soup. Total damage to the pocket: 23 bucks!
Then, it was shopping at bugis street.
We spent almost 30 mins in this particular shop just because tanweishan couldn't decide which colour dress should she get OR should she get the dress.(HAHA! Sounds like me ah!)
Then, we came across this very cute necklace and we spent another 10 mins in that shop cam-whoring.
With tanweishan around, u'll never stop taking pics.

The owner of this shop is kind enough to let us cam-whore inside.

Back to the retro dayssss

Far East after Bugis shopping spree.
While waiting for the train, tanweishan can even take pics!!! like WTH?
Number one cam-whorer!!!

This crazy girl..i love! :)

Our dinner sponsored by Sabby!

And we finally had the chance to sit down and talked.
It's amazing how i only got the chance to hang out with these two babes after we graduated.
During our exco days, i remembered we hardly even hang out together (just the three of us) and i'm glad we got closer through many many misunderstandings with one another. :)
With Sabby around, u'll never feel bored because this girl can talk non-stop and with her around, u'll never lack of any topics to talk about.
With Tanweishan around, u'll never stop laughing because this girl here can make u laugh non-stop and with her around, u can find things to disturb her from head to toe. LOLS!
And yes, i hereby declare that sabrina is the number one TAI TAI!
We slacked at Far East till around 945pm before heading down to Wisma.

Thanks for the night babes. Hugs! =)
Tanweishan says next up will be MAHJONG! LIVE@Shan's place.com. Quoted by her!

Waited for that ah poong and he took like forever to arrive!
Shawn gave us a lift down to zouk. By the time we reached zouk, it was already 1130?
I heard Phuture tickets were sold out at around 10PM! gooness!
And zouk was super packed last night.
Prolly is because poly students are having holidays now and i heard uni students having one week holiday as well.
Thanks to Chris. Pris, wenqing and another pris managed to get in to phuture.

Boyfriend's eyesight is perfect now!! woot!

The cousins unite!

What's with your hair Mr Joel? HAHA!

These two guys RAN in to phuture just like that. SMART ah! haha.

Din manage to mambo last night cos the dancefloor was way too crowded.
Ling and Bee was drunk and they disappeared halfway.
Char the siao char bor went missing! (Let me know ur bank account number so that i can transfer u the money for pineapple malibu)

And yes, i NEED to get a job!

Someone asked me whether am i very eager to get myself a boyfriend.
So I replied "which part of me says i'm very eager to get a boyfriend?"
And he said "You always hang out with girls so that guys on the streets can go up to you and get your number. Right?"
Then I told him "I think you are childish and you have nothing better to do!"
And he replied "But i still think you're a flirt."
So I asked again "What's your definition of a flirt?"
He said (the same thing like before) "Club, Drink, many guy friends!"

OKAYyyyyy, I didn't know clubbing, drinking and having many guy friends means flirt and furthermore he says i'm always hanging out with girls?
This is so contradicting.
Oh man, please tell me he's kidding.

And yes, PS I LOVE YOU is a very nice movie. :)

"So won't you stay......Just a little bit longer"

The usual night, with the usual kahkis. ;)
Too bad, my sis left with kenny at 12am.
Her favourite songs came right after that.
So, it was left with zi, adeline, dawn + her friends, siao char bor, ah poong and myself.
I managed to sneak ah poong in to phuture. Thanks to my junior. (okie great, i don't know his name)

Her first mambo night with me. hee hee.

Meet charmaine the SIAO CHAR BOR!

You can forget about working. HAHA!

We went back to mambo at around 230am to find zi.
By then, Adeline has already gone home because zi said she was drunk. tsk tsk tsk.
And so, we stayed till around 330am.
The rest went home while Char, micheal poong and me went opposite for some drinks and mee goreng. :)

I woke up at 330pm today.
Wanted to be a good girl by packing my wardrobe and cupboard but i was so engrossed in www.viwawa.com till i almost forgot it's dinner time.
Man, mahjong-ing is so addictive.

And great, looks like everybody i know is applying for NTU.
I think i can forget about going in to uni and start looking for a job.

Yes, i should.

After 3 months, i finally stepped back into FYP lab at Blk L Level 3.
The feeling's different. It's not the same as before.
And i really really hope my oh so wonderful FYP supervisor will forget about the extension.
So, on Monday, i went back to school, wanted to hand in the attachment report but being the smart me, i forgot to let my incharge sign the report. That Siti also. HAHA!
And so, i wasted my trip down to school.

Met bestfriend and ling after that.
And we indulged in a $30 sushi buffet meal.
YES! 30 BUCKS!! My gosh! But i guess it was all worth it cos we ate ALOT of red plates. hah!

On Tuesday, Siti and myself travelled all the way down to BEDOK just to let ERIC sign our report.
Eric drove us to City Plaza Arnold restaurant and we had lunch together. :)
Somehow we miss working in SCS. And Eric says he miss working with us too. (yah, like real only. More like miss bullying us? lols)
After that, we travelled ALL THE WAY back to NYP just to hand in our attachment report and after that, i travelled ALL THE WAY back to pasir ris for exco chalet.
Just one day itself, i spent almost 4 bucks on MRT fare. That's the disadvantage of being an adult.

Exco chalet was fun.
Though the first night, there was only a few of us, i guessed we did enjoy the pictionary and the chariots.
The losing team got to jump into the pool. In the end, both teams draw!
So, everyone jumped into the pool. BUT.........the girls exception. LOLS.
And it was MAHJONG session after that.
My gosh, this is the first time i played mahjong for sooooo long.
And our chalet machiam like some gambling den lor.
We opened two tables and everyone was gambling away. Poor mervyn, he lost the most!
I think must be because of my unlucky seat. haha. Cos when i sat there, i lost. When merv took over me, he lost too.
Thank goodness, we played small if not i think i'll lose about 20 bucks?

I slept at around 5am if i'm not wrong.
And the rest of the exco continued with mahjong! OH NO, i think we're addicted to it already.
Moreover, now that i'm slacking, i think i will play mahjong more often.
OKIE, THIS MUST STOP! If not i'll go bankrupt.

NDP2008 motivators recruitment will commence this Saturday.
And that means, my saturday morning will be burnt. . .

Friday marks the end of my poly life.
Somehow, i miss working in SCS. (this is so rare)
I remembered i used to say i can't wait for it (attachment) to end. Now that it has ended, i'm actually feeling a lil reluctant to leave the company. I think that's always the case.
Actually, attachment ain't that bad. Other than waking up EARLY in the morning, i somehow enjoy working.
At around 230pm on Friday, i self declared 'WORK ENDED'. HAHA!
I'll definitely miss the people whom i worked with. (and not forgetting the nypians as well)
No doubt, it was indeed a memorable 3 months experience. :)

Check out the new office space. SUPER big! Now u know why i CAN'T sleep! heh!
The new office personal desk!

With Kian Han; our supervisor!

The handmade photo frame from us to Eric.

And Siti was transferred to the "bird park" to do project...

and till now, we have NO idea why issit birds....haha!

The coffee machine which helped me to stay awake!

The JUZCALL ladies.

The TP Call Centre peeps.

Our partner; telecom department? (can't remember what's their department called.)

After all the photo-taking session, we bid our final farewell to them. :(

Lynn!!! Always the first one to leave the office! hah!

The usual lunch khakis. Thanks for these 3 months. I'll definitely miss the times spent with all of u. Keep in contact okie? :)

After work, i was soooo shagged that i wasn't even looking forward to heading out to "celebrate" the end of attachment!!
Instead, i went home and slacked all the way till about 945pm before CHLOE called me.
And at around 10pm, smelly turtle called me and said "Open the door, i'm outside your house now!"
Man, i was shocked. Infact, i din know what to say! But hey, thanks for coming down ALL THE WAY from -i don't know where- to my house, just to wish me Happy Valentine's Day! I really appreciate it. :)

Afterwhich, i headed down to zouk just to accompany my DEAR CHLOE!
I reached zouk at 1130pm and i waited for her and her bf for abour 1/2 an hour. Dennis keep saying 5 mins, 5 mins, 5 mins. 5 mins until become 1/2 and hour. MY GOSH! Thank goodness i din cabbed down.. haha.
Left at around 215am to head over to the prata shop for some emo talk. It's been months since the both of us sat down and talked.
Sis and Cosuin came and pick me up.
The moment i got home, i concussed.

Next day, i was supposed to meet TANWEISHAN to head over to sabby's place at 11am to have some girls talk.
In the end, all one by one woke up late. and we only managed to reach sab's place at around 2pm? HAHA!
Before heading over to her place, we went over to Causeway Point and had pastamania for lunch while waiting for that TANWEISHAN to arrive.

Miss Tokyo, Miss NYP Hey! Gorgeous. hee hee.

Miss Old Chang Kee. LOLS!

We had lotsa fun playing in sabby's house! Her small lil cute nephew, black jack, etc.
It has been some time since we had girls activities like this.
And i'm totally loving it! I want more! I want More! I WANT MORE! heehee. :)

The 5 of us; together as one! :)

Not forgetting Young and Dawnie.

Sabby!!! Thanks for the "surprise" on Vday! loves!

16th Feb 2008!

Bestfriend and I headed down to Tampines to meet Shuling dearie.
Invited the both of them for my church steamboat dinner.
And that AH POONG takes forever to arrive!

Thanks for coming!

Today after church service, we had STEAMBOAT again!
Two days of consecutive Steamboat. WOAH!
This time round, the whole steamboat lunch was sponsored by Pastor Joel and Aunty Lily.
And take a look at our church.....it has turned into a mini steamboat restaurant..
cool huh! haha.

Our table. . .
From this...

To this...

And it was mahjong session at bestfriend's place after that.
Shuling was the winner for the night! We called it the beginner's luck! hah!

Tomorrow is Monday! SO WHAT?
I don't have to wake up early and squeeze my way through to board the train.
I don't have to rush like mad just to catch for the bus. heehee!

Okie, time to chiong for attachment final report!! And after that i'll officially gain back my FREEDOM!

Last night, i caught Sweeny Todd with Ah Poong.
Before the movie, we had Thai Express at Paragon. And i bumped into my "favouritest" guy; Charles. HAHA! Too bad, I din manage to see Aaron.
So, we slacked at Thai Express for about an hr.
Sweeny Todd was shown in a big cinema with very little people. If i'm not wrong, only the last 5 rows were occupied? And out of that 5 rows, there were many empty seats in between.
And i think the movie is kinda comical.

Movie ended at around 1130pm.
Headed down to the usual place to find the mambo queens. (it was a SUPER last min decision)
By the time we reached zouk, it was already 1150pm.
And zouk was super packed. Last night machiam like eve of holiday like that.
We din stay for long cos everyone got to wake up early the next day.
Hah, and the mambo queens already plan to mambo next wed. SET!

Wesly and the mambo queens (exclude me please)
I shan't post the rest of the pics up because it's too bright!

And so, sis and i got home at around 215am. (thanks wes for the lift)
I only managed to sleep at 3am!
SUPER reluctant to wake up this morning for work.
While i was taking my bath, my eyes were closed and i was stoning for about 5 mins before I officially start bathing.
I din want to skip work because i've yet to complete the user guide and my final report.
Amazing thing is that, i kept wanting to sleep when i reached the office. But, thanks to the number of incoming fault calls and emails, Eric and myself was kept busy the whole day and i didn't fall asleep AT ALL. :)
And being Eric's "personal secretary", i was helping him to search for nice restaurants/food for him to celebrate Vday with his date.
Everybody in the office is making a big hoo-haa about Vday! Hello?!?!!!

During lunch today, the guys din join us.
And so, it was only Lynn, Xing Er, my bytch and I.
We walked all the way from SCS to Bedok Central for KFC.
Siti and I bought EIGHTEEN Munchy Donuts back for the people in our department.
Suddenly, i felt a lil relunctant to leave the company. Just when we started to enjoy our stay over here, our time is up!
IT'S ALWAYS LIKE THAT!

Stayed in office till 645PM today. FIRST time for the whole of 3 months!
Siti went to meet her PIPI.
Eric went to meet his J.
Me? I went home and watch tv! [Sorry bestfriend and shuling dearie, i dont wanna go all the way to Simei. Hope u two girls had fun. Meet u two up on SAT. :)]

And yes, tomorrow marks the end of my poly life!
Somehow, i feel sad...that i'm gonna leave all this nice bunch of friends i've made.

On the other hand, no work = NO NEED WAKE UP EARLY IN THE MORNING! SHOIOK!

Eric treated both Siti and Myself to dinner last night.
Yes, it's a farewell dinner.
Time flies uh. Three more days and it'll be the end of my attachment and that also marks the end of my poly life.
Should i be glad?

Thanks for the dinner Eric. :)

I think the only thing i'll miss about attachment is the people in my department and the usual nyp lunch khakis. :)
I'm glad to know the whole bunch of them though it's only 3 months.

The sleep at 4am and wake up at 4pm routine will begin next week. GOOD!

And yes, i'm broke!
No, i din spend my ang bao money anyhow.
I used it to pay for my pledge, my outstanding handphone bill and my other debts.
Another 50 will be going to Kimo momo for owing SIT-Club fund.
Looks like i have to cancel my Bangkok and ShangHai/Hong Kong plans. :(

The only place i can afford now is prolly Genting and JB. haha!
Young & Bee, are we still going? (Ros and Tao can make it?)

I have been so dependent on my inhaler recently that i puff at least 4 puffs a day! Is that good or bad? Hmmm....

This year is prolly one of the most boring Chinese New Year ever.
Most of the cliques are either busy studying for their up-coming exams or busy visiting relatives.
So, on the second day of CNY, we went over to young's place for 21 and mahjong!

Bee and myself are still in the learning process so that's why we paired up!

And after bee left for her aunt's place, i got really stressed up!
Because Shawn, Jialong and Wentao are experts!
And i lost all my money to Jialong can!
Thank goodness, we played small if not i think i will lose at least 20 bucks.

They say all pairs. Just nice. YAH! Trying to be funny uh! There's only one real pair leh.

After mahjong and black jack, we went over to J8 for late lunch and early dinner.
As usual, Shawn and Jialong can never stop playing pranks on people.
Be it on the streets or on the bus. tsk tsk tsk.

Junction 8 KFC!

Rushed home after that to book tickets for 27 dresses.
But...all tickets were SOLD OUT!
And so, i decided to stay at home and be a good girl on a Friday night. =)
A friend of mine called me up to head to zouk.
My itchy backside was giving me the signal to go but when i thought back on what someone told me, i decided to give zouk a miss.
Then again, i realised what's the point now?
Even if i go or don't go, it won't make any difference already.
There won't be that somebody who will msg me saying "call me when you're home" or "don't drink so much and becareful"
I guess all these things will never happen anymore.

Enough of that unhappy thought.

Since i was home the whole night, i decided to watch One Litre of Tears on youtube.
Yes yes, i know it's a lil too late for me to watch now.
But after hearing so much from boyfriend and xinger about the drama, i decided to watch. And goodness, i was stucked infront of my lappie from 1030pm all the way to 330AM.
I shan't say much about the details of the drama.
All i can say is, the girl is very strong! Even at her dying stage, she's still encouraging others to live on!
And yes, i was home again for the whole day today.
Supposed to go visiting and then to town with bestfriend to chill.
In the end, as i expected, all had last minute plans.
So, i continued watching one litre of tears again!

Boring weekends i had.
But well, i saved at least 6 bucks on transport and prolly 20 bucks on leisure just by staying at home for the past 2 days. :)
Monday will be a new week and that marks the end of my attachment week.

Should i be glad that it's over?

Last night reunion dinner was great.
I always loved reunion dinner because that's the only time where all of us can sit down and eat together as a family. We had many many delicious food.

ALL hand-cooked by my aunt. Except the chicken, the duck and the yusheng.

After dinner, the youths in the house collected ang paos.
My sis super poor thing, everybody say the same thing to her "This is your last year to collect ang pao already. Next year your turn to give." HAHA!
Yes, my sis is getting married at the end of the year and i'll be her bridesmaid!
This is so fun. I never had a chance to be bridesmaid before. heh! =)

Headed down to zouk after that with sis, kenny + his friends, zeng zi and AH POONG!
Waited for kenny to come and pick us up and he only manage to reach our place at around 1130pm.
By the time we reached zouk, it was full house already.
And i felt so bad because i made Gladys wait for two hours just for me.
So, all of us managed to get in.
The mambo queens as usual went to their usual bar to get drinks.

Last night was pretty crowded.
But at least, there's space to move around.
And....and....and...... last night was the most embarrassing night for me.
I was making my way through to zouk's toilet and suddenly, I SLIPPED AND FELL just RIGHT infront of the walkway between zouk and phuture.
SUPER PAISEH TO THE MAX!

Thank goodness, ah poong was behind me but he din managed to pull me up. Haha.
Instead, this group of guys pulled me up and i think they were laughing at me.
Next time must cover my face already. Go ahead and laugh!
And because my heels came off, everywhere to me was slippery.
Basket, there goes my red heels.

Gladys, Zi, Michael POONG, my sister

Dearest sis! sigh, next year onwards she won't be staying with us anymore. =(

Dolly Ong. haha. My Girl Guides senior!

The guy behind is my soon to be brother-in-law, Kenny Leong! Wah lau, so extra! HAHA!

Michael POONG aka Xiaodi or Ah POONG! lols.

Left zouk around 330am to head over to Thomson Prata House for supper.
And man, this group of bengs were creating trouble for the owner there.
I say, more like attracting attention from the customers.
Got home at 5am and i concussed right after my bath.

Relatives and mum came over to our place.
Got "forced" to wake up early in the morning.
And after all of them left, i went back to sleep.
Shucks, and i'm still feeling sleepy NOW!

Heading over to young's place tomorrow.
Yay, more ang paos. HAHA!

Mahjong, here i come. Whoo Hoo!

This morning when i alighted from the company's shuttle bus, SCS welcomed us with a "Happy New Year, Gong Xi Fa Chai" greeting and gave us a bag of oranges + a pkt of red packets the moment we got off the bus. There was even a red carpet can!
I felt like i was a celebrity lor. Heh!
Being the eve of Chinese New Year, we were given a half day off.
And since it was half day, i've no mood to work at all.
And so, Siti and i spent the whole morning chit-chatting and cam-whoring in the toilet and the new office. :)

Siti says "You think u model ah?" I say "You think funny ah?" HAHA!

Back to the new office.

With hair clipped

With hair tied

ACT ONLY!

One more week of attachment and we'll go our seperate ways.
I'll definitely miss this bytch of mine. =)

Took bus with xavier to head over to Bedok to meet sabby.
Couldn't join them for lunch cos dad came and pick me up.
Dad and I had lunch at some dian xin restaurant and i swear the CHARSIEWBAO taste damn sucky.
Okie, so i received my first ang bao from dad already.

Came home, did some spring cleaning.
I threw away 3-5 NTUC plastic bags full of nonsense stuff inside.
Sis and i spent about 4 hours clearing our room and she's still clearing NOW!
I reckon after new year, the house will once again be filled with her barang barang.
Reunion dinner was fine. The only thing is that, this year, the food is cooked by my aunt instead of my grandma.
Mum couldn't make it for dinner last minute. Oh wells, i wonder issit because of my step dad??

Oh, yesterday after work, i headed down to town to meet prissy boyfriend to collect my dress and to meet her for dinner.
I wanted to eat TOM YUM soooooo much but the queue was freaking long and most of the stalls at Far East were closed.
And so, we settled down for some wanton mee.

Look like ah lian meh?

boyfriend drove her dad's big car out.
She was rather nervous because the car's too big for her.

Wah...ur skirt sibei short leh. HAHA!

It's been months since i last meet up with my exco babes.
Had dinner at Marina Square's LJS with ARIEL tao, Sabby, Tanweishan, Mr Ng and a special guest.
The girls had a time of gossiping and updating of each other. =)
Afterwhich, we walked around marina sqaure before heading down to esplanade for AO's surprise birthday celebration.
Our plan almost got ruined by the policemen and security of esplanade. Haha.
Thank goodness, all went well.

I think the last time i met the exco was during our gathering at Amira Grills or whatever you call that.
And it's amazing how all of us are still keeping in contact with one another.
Like what they always say "Once a legend, always a legend"
Soon, we'll all be graduating and going our seperate ways.
No doubt, i'll definitely miss my poly days.
The friends i made in poly and the weird people i met along the way will leave a deep impression in my heart.

1 more week to the end of attachment.
Most people at my age are either pursuing degree or working.
Me? I'm still stucked at nowhere.
Till now, i'm still clueless about my future.

And it kept me thinking "What do I want to do exactly?"

Friday was spring cleaning day.
The whole department was asked to shift all our stuff by Friday 1st Feb if not, all of us got to make our way down to office on Sat to clear everything.
And since NONE of us would want to "work" early morning on a Saturday, we spent the whole day shifting our stuff from the old office to the new office.
Not only that, i was asked to go over to the staging area (something like storeroom/warehouse) to pack the room and cover the glass window with papers.
Interns = cheap labour! that is so true.
Oh wells, at least i dont have to stay in the office all day, staring at the computer.

There are a few things i DON'T like about the new office space.
1) There is no privacy already. (because there's MANY MANY people. the previous office space only contains a few of us.)
2) Siti is not there to crap and sing song with me anymore. =(
3) Cannot take short naps because once i put my head down, EVERYBODY can see. (man, how to survive for the next 2 weeks?)
4) Cannot dabao food back and eat at our desk. :(
5) Have to use msn/internet discretely because if my boss comes in, i won't have time to close the window.
6) My computer is facing everybody.
7) My desk is facing the window. (every morning, the sun will shine like nobody's busuness)
8) The space is rather small. All our files and documents have to be placed on the ground.
9) Very dusty and the air-con machiam put there for deco.
10) Have to walk one whole big round back to my desk if i go to the restroom.

Thank goodness, i'm only left with 7.5 more days of work! I need to restore my energy!

After work, i rushed home, bathed and waited for uncle to come and pick the small lil brat and myself to church for some games night activity.
At first, i was kinda reluctant to go because i was feeling damn sleepy and restless and was afraid i couldn't wake up in time to attend the NTU talk at Suntec.
Though there was only a few of us who turned up for the games night, i think we all had fun bonding with one another. =)
After movie, the guys (younger youths) played Monopoly while the older youths, together with sherrynleong, Zhilong, Kenny and our new friend; Michael Poon played Taboo!
The rest of the girls fell asleep.
We played till about 4ish and Kenny, my sis and emmy concussed after that.
Char1, Zhilong, Poon and Me played UNO after that. Followed by Bluff.
The 4 of us played and talked till about 645am in the morning. And by 7am, all of us concussed already.

Reached home at 1130am, wanted to sleep but i controlled because i know if i sleep, i will never wake up in time for the NTU talk.
Basket! In the end, i still fell asleep. And there goes the talk. . . . . .
Woke up at around 330, headed down to town to meet bestfriend.
I seriously hate to go town during festive season, everyone is rushing here and there to get CNY clothes.
We took like almost 15 mins to get out of the train station.

And yes, i found a way to release my unhappiness.
And that is to shop like nobody's business.
I bought two pairs of shoes in a row. And after walking out of the shop, i told dawnie "Shit, i regretted buying the shoes."

Man, if this goes on, i can never visit Bangkok again. Or rather, i won't money to spend for my Shanghai/Hong Kong trip in March.

And i wonder how are you?
