Recently, I've been reading a book called "I Kissed Dating Goodbye". It was a christmas gift given to me by my pastors.
Most other books on dating will tell you how to make dating work. But this book, it actually tells you how to make your life pleasing to God, even if that means taking a break from dating.
The author of this book isn't convincing people to stop dating. He just wants to help people examine the aspects of life that dating touches - the way we treat others, the way we prepare for our future mate, our personal purity and look at what it means to bring these areas in line with God's Word.
As I flipped the page to chapter 1, I was so hooked to it till I always bring it out with me and read it on the train.
As I continue reading, I came across this chapter that indicates 'The seven habits of highly defective dating'
These seven habits are some of the "swerves" dating relationships often make. Perheps you can relate to one or two of them.

1. Dating tends to skip the friendship stage of a relationship.
2. Dating often mistakes a physical relationship for love.
3. Dating often isolates a couple from other vital relationships. - I so agree with this statement. I started thinking, how many people end dating relationships only to find their ties to other friends severed? hmmm.....
4. Dating can distract young adults from their primary responsibility of preparing for the future.
5. Dating can cause discontentment with God's gift of singleness.
6. Dating can create an artificial environment for evaluating another person's character.
7. Dating often becomes an end in itself.

I have friends telling me to stop reading this book for fear that it might influence my mind about dating.
Come to think of it, this book isn't that bad. It actually speaks to me alot about my life.
Being single is not that bad. Look at it this way, if I view singleness as a gift from God, I can learn to be content with friendships during the time God wants me to remain single. With this, I can also clear my life of the clutter that short-term relationships contribute. I can even pursue more effective ministry and deeper friendship with people of both genders.
As a single, I can even have all the freedom I want. I can have the freedom right now to explore, study and tackle the world.

I know, I know my friends can't wait for me to have a boyfriend.
But wells, is not about me finding a boyfriend. It's about me finding the right and perfect one. :)
Don't worry E, my mind won't be corrupted. Hehe!

Time flies! 2008 is coming to an end in just a day!
Is like the moment I closed my eyes, "bling" 2009 is here already! Everything happened in just a split second. sofast, sofast, SO SO FAST!
I remembered during GEL meet last saturday, Kenneth asked us two questions.
1) What was that one thing in 2008 that left a big impact in your life?
2) What was that one thing you messed up in 2008?

I started pondering about these two questions.
2008 has been a year full of ups and downs!
But, whatever bad times or down times we are facing, life must still go on! This whole chapter of 2008 is coming to an end in just a day!!!
Will 2009 be a better year? I sincerely hope so.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Christmas this year was spent with the poly classmates.
Wee and Shawn couldn't make it because Wee hurt his butt during one of his trainings in OCS. Poor boy, I hope his butt is recovering.
Shawn as usual, busy dating. He's never free!

And so the rest of us had Waraku at Marina Square. (We will always make it a point to have Christmas dinner few days before or after Christmas)
This year, we did something different. We had gift exchange.
And we added a rule to it. NO FOODS/CHOCOLATES ARE ALLOWED!
I bet the guys had a hard time cracking their heads on what to get other than chocolates. hah!
It was a lovely Christmas night. Great food, great company! :)

Boxing day was spent with cher and her darling in town. A super random meet-up!
E came and off we went to phuture.
Initial plan was to collect my new card and then stay for awhile and then head off to somewhere else. But then, we bumped into Serena and Eileen and we got the both of them to join us.

Eileeeeeeeeeeen, was great bumping into you that night. We should catch up with other soon! You Take Care alright?

:)

Bugis with goodfriend the next day. We sat down at STARBUCKS to eat NASI LEMAK. I bet there were people starring at us.

Not shy one lor. Still can ask me pose for pic somemore. tsk tsk tsk! LOLS!

While we were on the train to Tampines, she said she wanted to hear the song "Shout to the Lord" because she's feeling excited about church! And so, we started singing Christian songs on the train and we were totally oblivious to the people around us. I think they must be wondering what are we girls up to.
And I bumped into my cliques back in EI0510/NYP days.

Geraldine and Suhui!!!!! It's time for us to meet up with the rest!!!

Brought goodfriend to church.
No, to be exact, she was the one who wanted to go to church. I have to thank her because I had no intention to go church since most of the senior youths are not in SG and I'm very very glad she went.
Goodfriend, I don't mind bringing you to church every saturday!

Church toilet

After church, we went over to City Hall and we had the very delicious chicken rice for dinner!
Went over to STARBUCKS (AGAIN). I think I'll soon be influenced by her.
While waiting for Jenny, we sat down at the sofa, listening to our IPODS, reading our own storybooks. For a moment, I wasn't complaining about how late Jenny was. Infact, while waiting for her, I felt super relaxed. Shall we do this more often goodfriend?

Timbre after that.
Goodfellas was playing that night. And Sarah from 58A sang Lucky with them.
Oh, and I love Sarah's voice. Her vocals are superb!

Timbre at Substation

Heading to Gab's condo later for a swim with that bimbo cousin of mine.
I hope I'll be able to wake up!

Sister's BIG Day!

20th December marks the most important day in my sister's life.
The day before her big day, georgina and the char sisters stayed over our place to prepare for the big day. Char1 and I stayed up till about 315AM because we were busy painting our nails.
I woke up at 430AM feeling excited. My sis make-up artist; Sally and Fyonne GF came over to our place at 6AM.
I felt so bad because F did not catch a wink at all. She did my hairdo and make-up and even help my two cousins, mum and aunt with theirs. (THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH GF FOR MAKING A TRIP DOWN SO EARLY IN THE MORNING!)
The rest of the entourage came at around 645AM to do some last minute preparation!

First Stage

At exactly 7am, my bro-in-law came with his Lexus, followed by his entourage, they let out a SUPER LOUD "Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep".

By then, we were all super hyper and excited already.
The ladies had a good one hour sabotaging my bro-in-law and his brothers.
I wasn't sure what was happening outside because I was in the room with my sis.
But I must say my bro-in-law and sis have realy wonderful and super steady friends! :)

Miss Ng (NOW Mrs Leong) with the Leong family. So happened that my bro-in-law is also Leong! FATED!

The three of us grew up together, played together, go to school together...

My beautiful sis. :)

Sisters' entourage a.k.a jiemeis

The theme for her wedding was Rainbow. So, that explains why the ribbons are tied around them. The guys ties are made up of the seven colours of rainbow as well.

After the guys successfully crossed all stages, it was time for the tea ceremony, followed by photo-taking session. :)

If only grandma was there...Then, it would be an extremely perfect pic.

Ladies and Gentlemen

Set off to Kenny's house for tea-ceremony before proceeding to Trinity Methodist Church for their Holy Matrimony.

Joshua; our all time favourite and Pretty Evangeline in their Scout and Guide uniform. SUPER CUTE RIGHT???

Mini version of my bro-in-law and sis, Paige Boy, Flower Girls

Exchanging their marraige vows

Lighting of Unity Candles

Giving their speech

I was really touched by my sister's speech.
And I could see tears rolling down my uncle, aunt, grandfather and my parents' eyes while my sis thank each and everyone of them.

Uncle William, Aunty Rebecca (Pastors of our church) and their daughters + Ivor.

The Leong Family!

We are named The Five Fantastic Female Fighting Forces by The Als. Those were the Glad Tidings East days...

Wtih the pretty sisters

Meilan

The two "aunties", Zeng Zi and Georgina. Thanks for being there!

Sisters-in-Guiding

Mr and Mrs Leong. Both of them must be tired from smiling. Look at Kenny. Hah!

Followed my sis to Swissotel The Stamford to rest before the dinner starts.
I'm amazed by the Presidential Suite at Swissotel.
They stayed at 66th storey and so, the scenery from their room is SUPERB!

Their presidential suite

Looooooking down from the top

The food was delicious.
It was my first time sitting at the Red table. And people seated at the red tables are treated like Kings and Queens. Haha!!
Now, I can't wait for my brother to get married. lols.

The Newly Weds

The ex-Sacians

Thanks bestfriend for taking leave just to attend the dinner. :)

Thanks Babe for entertaning Dawn that night.

Rest of the pics can be found in Facebook.

I'm truly happy for my sis.
Like what my sister sms-ed me before she flew to Taiwan for her honeymoon, "Don't worry, I'm still your sister and you got yourself a new brother. Will miss you too..." Those words really touched me, I couldn't control my tears.
She has been living with me for the past 22 years of my life. Now that she has been "given away" to another family, it'll take time for me to adapt this new life without her.

I've never once tell her how wonderful is she as a sister.
I never really had a chance to sit down and have a gooooood long talk with her.
I never had a chance to tell her how much I looked up to her.
Though we are not as close as other sisters are, no doubt, I'll definitely miss her.
But wells, at least I know she's in safe hands. :)

School's starting in another two more weeks.
And I'm terribly broke. *Sigh!
And I haven't break my repeat module news to my dad. *Double Sigh!

I NEED A PART TIME JOB!!!!

Christmas is four days away but yet, I don't have the christmas mood.
It's only today when I went church, then I realised Christmas is coming.
The adults went around giving out presents, wishing one another "Blessed Christmas".
I love Christmas period because that's when you'll go around exchanging and receiving gifts, attend parties, drink wine/sparkling juice, eat turkey/ham, etc.
But, I think as one grows older, gifts from people will be lesser and lesser.
A few of the youths in church will make it a habit to exchange gifts every year without fail. We'll draw lots and then start searching for gifts just two weeks before christmas.
And every year, my christmas will be spent with the church mates. We'll go for a simple chritsmas dinner. After which, head to someone's house to exchange our gifts, watch nice dvds and stay over. Christmas is always fun with them around.
Sadly, this year christmas will be a boring one. :(
Sis will not be around this christmas as she will be flying off to Taiwan tomorrow for her honeymoon and she will only be back in a month's time. So, that means New Year's eve and New Year's day will be boring too.
The chars and Ivor will be leaving for HK this tuesday.
Looks like the church will be damn empty/quiet without all of them.

Oh wells, talking about christmas, I met up with PrisSY, Cher and Dawn on Wednesday night for a simple dinner planned by Pris.
It was a pre-christmas dinner + a short gathering.
It has been a loooooooong time since we sat down to have dinner together.

At Taka waiting for that Hello Kitty Woman.

Couldn't decide on where/what to eat. We ended up at Cine's HK Cafe.
Whenever I'm there, I'll always order my standard Soup noodles with Ham and Egg and Iced Milk Tea.
And HK Cafe reminds me of the womanilove, young, sabby and tao!

1, 2, 3 Smileeeee. HAHAHA! (*inside joke)

Here comes Prissy! Oh, and these are our Christmas gifts from Dawn!

I could still remember, last year we exchanged presents too!
Thanks bestfriend for the Crabtree and Evelyn hand therapy cream. Hope you like the shimmer lotion as well. :)

Shuling came and find us after her work.
Super long never see this girl also.
After which, we walked down to Wisma. And thanks to Bodyshop, they made me swipe my card.
I think I'm going to eat bread starting from next week.

Short of Bee and Victor

I chopped off like 2.5cm of my hair but no one noticed. :(

Hah. We took the brochure to cover our heads because while we were making our way to heeren, there were ALOT of birds on top. Better to play safe right? We weren't acting cute! We REALLY did use that brochure to cover our heads!!

Sat down at Spinelli to chill and slack.
Jackson came to look for me in town and we waited for E's call before heading down to The Arena to meet the rest of our uni mates.

Spinelli

Headed down to The Arena to meet the rest of the SIM mates.
It was my virgin trip to The Arena and I don't really like the place though the music was superb.
We left around 1am and headed down to Zouk for mambo.
Goodness, it was crowded like as though Zouk were giving out freebies.

Welcome Jeane!

Wasn't really in the mood to club that night. Prolly is because it was way too crowded.
Talking about mambo, I miss mambo-ing with my sis.
Now that she's "given away" to another family, I don't know when will I ever have a chance to club with her again. :(

Friday night was spent at Jackson's place.
E, F and myself got invited to his Christmas party.
We travelled ALL THE WAY DOWN TO BUKIT GOMBAK! His house was located at some wulu street. My gosh la, super far. I don't know how can anyone lives in the west. Is sooooooo inconvenient man.
Coincidentally, fyonne and I both wore the same colour. :)

EFG, as usual.

After dinner, we went all the way up to 3rd storey to explore Jackson's room.
Didn't know his "HDB" was soooo big.

It's just so coincidental that we were all dressed in christmas colours

Two more weeks to the end of holidays.
My timetable sucks. The first week of school, I have lessons from 5th Jan - 10th Jan! Monday - Saturday will be spent in school. HOW GREAT?
Okie, next post will be on my sister's big day!
P/S: Thanks GF for NOT sleeping and travelling all the way down at 530AM from your place just to help me with my hairdo and make-up. Love you!

I miss not having my sister at home

Now that Korea trip updates are done, time to update about other stuff.
This entry will be on the whole of last week.

The moment I touched down SG on the 5th, I received a few sms from friends asking me about my results.
Kinda expected how the results will turned out to be.
But wells, i'm VERY VERY happy with my marketing module. All the late nights at Airport Terminal 2's Macdonalds paid off. :)

So, E accompanied me to search for my white gown on Hari Raya.
We combed the whole of Daniel Yam in town before heading to TM to meet F.
F passed me our 1st and 2nd month anniversary gifts. I love the photo album!!

I love the roses too. Happy 2 months GF! heehee.

Both of them waited for me while I head over to church for the wedding rehearsel.
Then, I went over to Pasir Ris white sands to meet them after the reahearsel.
We sat down at this chinese cafe just outside POSB. Not knowing where to go, we sat outside the cafe and talked. I was telling them about my Korea trip and they were telling me "incidents" that happened during my disappearance.

when the shops were still open.....

And then F said it's time to start the 'tying of friendship band' ceremony. Hahahahaha! (they got me a friendship band while waiting for me at TM)

Our bands

I just realised my legs are quite tanned?

We sat at the cafe from 9pm++ all the way to 1215AM.
Alvin came and find us after sending his "date" home.
Drove down to Geylang as I was craving for tau huay drink.
In the car, E and F couldn't stop singing. They kept singing till we all felt tempted to head over to kbox. What only!

can't remember what song were they singing

Cabbed home with F after that because alvin got to work the next day and I can't possibly ask him to send all of us home!

The next day, I met bestfriend at Simei to pass her the stuff I bought from Korea.
Then, town to meet goodfriend as she had things to update me!! :)

2 for $39. But I only paid $10 for it. Hah! Thanks goodfriend!

Just so happened she took this pic! I WASN'T posing at all! Obviously, I'm brokeeeeeee!

Our delicious late lunch! I love cheap stuff!!

Leonard came and joined us for dinner.
Went to Cine's Suki Sushi to have our ALL TIME FAVOURITE beans! (He calls it the dou dou)
We only had two plates of beans, 3 egg tofus and the orange colour sushi. (I forgot what issit called)

yeah! My FAVOURITE!

"Lucky I'm in love with my Bestfriend..." (*inside thing*)

And then we started our christmas photo-taking.
I could still remember last christmas, goodfriend and I went around orchard road to take pictures. This year, we did the same! heehee! (Goodfriend, shall we do this every year? and CHLOE darling, I want to take pictures with you tooooo!!!)

LAST CHRISTMAS

I think I still looked the same

This CHRISTMAS

Christmas models. lols.

After which, we went over to Lido's MacDonalds to chill because LEO said he wants to eat McFlurry.
This is where something happened to my legs!!!!

The moment I sat down on the wooden chair, my legs started to itch! I started scratching because I thought it was some normal insect bite. But, I realised the more I scratched, the more itchy it became and I could feel the itch spreading.
I went to the toilet immediately to spray water on my legs and when I saw my legs, I was horrified!!
I went back, showed them my legs and they too felt horrified. Leo had no choice but to send me home!
Both of them said my legs were disgusting! INDEED, it was! I couldnt believe what I saw too. I tried my VERY best not to scratch.
The next day when I woke up, I got a shocked of my life!!!
There were RED DOTS everywhere! Being the stubborn me, I refused to see the doctor because I thought it will heal within the next few days...
But, just when I thought it will recover, the red dots actually became redder day by day and I cancelled all my appointments on Wed and Thurs.
Ber accompanied me to the pharmacy on Friday to get the lotion to apply on. The pharmacist said after applying the lotion, I should be able to see some improvements. If not, she advised me to see the doctor. And so, being the stubborn me yet again, I refused to see the doctor even though the lotion did not work.
It actually spread to my upper knee.

VERY disgusting right???

I went ahead with my plans on Saturday.
Went for My Hope Singapore in church. It's a youth christmas outreach programme.
Was glad to see Vic and Ryn in church. COME FOR GEL MORE OFTEN OKIE? :)
Afterwhich, I headed down to Tanah Merah to meet Mr Ng and the womanilove for our exco christmas gathering!
Waited for them for almost 20 mins? I could have stayed longer in youth to fellowship with the rest lor. tsk tsk tsk!
But nevermind, womanilove, you are forgiven!
The gathering was held at Marina Barrage! I have no idea where is that place though I heard it before.
Took a cab in from Raffles Place and we somehow got "cheated" by the cab driver.
He told us Marina Barrage is near Singapore Flyer and he said its walking distance?? WTH la. He wants us to walk until the next day issit?
And so, we had no choice but to take another cab from SG Flyer ALL THE WAY in to the barrage.
Please, PleaSE, PLEASE...do NOT hold anymore gatherings in there! Its soooooo inconvenient to the max!

Don't forget my POSTER next year! hahaha!

The womanilove. And she's the ONLY one who will do silly things with ME!

The girls who never fails to make my days in exco FUN. (Not forgetting the admin girl who has a flight at 2AM thus, couldn't make it for the gathering.)

SIT EXCO SPORTS Department 06/07

Was supposed to head to timbre with theo and eugene to look for cher and the rest after the party.
But because I felt uneasy and paranoid about my uglydisfiguredlooklikefungi legs, I gave timbre a miss.
Excos, we should head there some day! :)

And yes, after being stubborn for soooo many days, I finally went to see a doctor on Monday.
The doctor had no idea what happened to my legs. He suspect it's hidden termites bites! GROSSSSSSS!!!! I think I will never sit on Lido's MacDonalds Chair anymore!!!!

I have to wake up in another 6 hours time because there's enrolment in school later!
Hopefully my uglyfied looking scars will be gone SOON!!!

And I'm VERY VERY broke this christmas. :(

Korea Trip Day 5

After breakfast, we proceeded to Gyeongbok Palace, the main and largest palang among the 5 palaces built during the Joseon dynasty. The Korean word "Gyeongbok" means 'Shining Happiness' as the palace is a tribute to the happiness and prosperity of the Koreans.
It was raining on this day and thus, all of us were freezing like MAD!
Gloves doesn't help at all because my hands still feels numb and I felt like I was touching a big ICE CUBE.

Gyeongbok Palace

Oh, On Day 4, the tour guide brought us to this two streets to shop.
And goodness, the bags in Korea are freaking cheap to the max. My cousin says I'm mad because I kept buying brown/dark brown bags! Come to think of it, I think my cupboard is full of brown bagssss! hah! I don't know why but I think I have fetish for brown and black bags?? I have to admit, girls will never have enough of bags!
So, the tour guide gave us like 1 hour++ to shop the entire street.
And like what bimbo leong said, I think the tour guide hates us cause whenever we visit boring places, palace and all, we'll doze off in the bus but the moment the tour guide says "It's time for shopping and we've reached the shopping place" all the girls jump up and get really excited. hahaha!
I can't really remember the name of the street he brought us to shop. All I know was, I grabbed quite a few bags because it was way tooooo cheap. IF I'm not wrong, it's Dongdaemun Market? The largest wholesale and retail shopping district in Korea.

He asked us if we want to go on an optional tour the next day. He said the optional tour includes two shopping district "Nu Ren Jie" and another street which I can't remember. Upon hearing that, we agreed but of cos, we got to pay additional 14000 Korean dollar.

So, after visiting the palace (on the 5th day), we went for Kimchi-making session at some Kimchi school. We were thought how to make Kimchi by this Korean lady and I'm amazed by her powerful mandarin. Her mandarn was so fluent till I don't even understand what she's talking about. Too tough for me to understand I supposed.

Check out our kimchis. I think I did a great job. hah!

And the kimchis that we made will be donated to the old folks home.
After kimchi-making, it was time for some Korean dress up!

My cousin who's in loooooooove with PINK!

:)

I think cLeong is so going to kill me if she sees this. hah!

Finally, it was shopping at "Ladies street".
The whole lot of us became hyper upon hearing it's time to shop!
The tour guide gave us about 2 hours to shop the entire ladies street. Still, there wasn't really much time because there's many stalls and the street is HUGGGEEE!
Went in to Forever 21 with my cousin and man, I'm in love with the F21 there!
EVERYTHING is soooo cheap compared to the F21 here in SG. The shorts, the jackets, the tops, the accessories and the bags.
(Goodfriend, you will love Korea's F21!)
And the best thing is, it's TAX FREE! So, you can imagine how long I spent at F21.
It was sooo cheap till I went back again with my sis.
My sis grabbed a few clothes from there and the jeans that she bought is only 15bucks!!! OH MY GOSH!!
And as expected, we were the last to gather back in the bus AGAIN! I think the rest of the people in the tour group hate us because whenever its shopping time, we are always the last to gather back.

The lunch and dinner on the last day was superb!

This is somewhat like our Pepper Lunch. They called it the Bibimbap Lunch

BBQ Beef for dinner!

At night, my sis, cLeong and myself went out to meet alex (my sis' Korean friend)while the rest of the people in the tour group were sleeping.
We were brought to some cafe and pub to chill. cLeong and myself were freezing because we ONLY wore two layers that night. Looking back now, I can't imagine how did we ever survived in such a cold night (furthermore, it was raining from morning till evening) with only 2 layers?

Day 6

Last day in Korea. The coldest day so far. The tour guide said it was MINUS 7degrees cos of the rain the previous day. Though it was very very cold, all of us were hoping it will be more cold so that we can have a chance to see REAL snow. Sadly, we din manage to see.
Visited the Ginseng Monopoly Showroom.
I was bored because I'm not really interested at all. All the history of Ginseng and who what why where drank it, etc. But I must admit, the ginseng milk that the person gave us was delicious!
This family spent like over SG $500 on GINSENG!! mad or MAD?
Afterwhich, we went to visit an Amethyst Factory, where gems are made.
Next up was Korea Entertainment Hall of Fame followed by Cheong Gye Cheon Musuem and then to this Duty Free shop to shop for tidbits/seaweeds/souveniors before heading to Incheon International Airport.

The guy in tie is our Tour Guide; Andy, who speaks VERY fluent mandarin

The CHAN sisters! lols.

Incheon International Airport

That ends my 1 week stay in Korea. My aunt says the next destination will be Japan?

And right now, I'm VERY VERY worried about my legs. I don't even know whether it will recover by this week.
I don't wanna be an ugly bridesmaid on my sis wedding.
Time flies! SIX more days to her BIG day!!!
Finally gotten a white gown for the church wedding.
Kaaaa-Chinnnnng, BIG HOLE BURNT IN MY POCKET!

Please please PLEASE, I pray my legs will recover SOON!!

Korea, Day 3

We visited Mt Sorak National Park, which is well known for its picturesque scenery of spring blossoms and fall foilage.

Mt Sorak National Park

After which, we headed over to Naksansa Temple, a 1300 year old temple to view the cultural assets like historic bronze bell, 7-storey stone tower, Hongyemun Gate and a 16-metre tall Buddhist statue which stands on a 2.8 metre high pedestal.
No pictures on this Naksansa Temple because we chose not to enter the temple. So, I have no idea how the place looks like.
We waited for the rest of the tour group outside the temple instead.
Why they never let us visit Church one? tsk tsk tsk!

Went to a 5-star Ski resort for some skiing session in the afternoon.

Getting ready...

Alison and my cousin playing with snow...

The three sisters

Our first time skiing

Day 4

Our Wednesday morning was spent at this branded fashion outlet stalls which sells real branded goods at a slightly cheaper price.
We were given 45 mins to shop only. Such a short period of time la. (this is one reason why I dislike going on a tour)
The moment I went in Accessorize, I grabbed a bag and ran to the next shop. and the bag is only selling it at like 27? Oh my gosh, the stuff there are freaking cheap. I heard from bimbo leong that the bag I bought is selling at 72 or 75 SG DOLLAR.
We were practically running from one shop to another because we had very little time. Spent most of the time at the Adidas outlet. The Adidas there are FREAKING CHEAP I tell you. And the best thing is, IT'S REAL!
I wanted to get the red jacket (the one that I saw at Far East Leftfoot. They selling it for $135 - If I remembered correctly) but sadly, they ran out of sizes. It's freaking cheap la. Convert back to SG dollar ONLY 56 bucks can!!! And I regretted not getting other colours instead. AaaaRrrrGgggHhhhh!!!
As usual, our family was the last to gather back at the bus. The tour guide gave us 45 mins only, where got enough you tell me??????

The entire afternoon was spent at Yongjin Everland, a fun-filled theme park with thrilling rides and a galore of lively entertainment.

:)

The chan sisters (inside joke) except for cLeong, took the world steepest wooden roller coaster. It's the greatest vertical inclination in the world.
*The highest roller coaster in Korea.
*The fastest roller coaster in Korea.
*The longest roller coaster in Korea.

My goodness, we waited for about 1hr15mins just for that short ride.
But wells, it was all worth the wait.

way to go chan sisters! lols.

The ride that made all of us giddyyyy

The 360 turn roller coaster

my all time favourite; viking!

Yeah, we were the ONLY 5 in our tour group who challenged ourselves with the 'I don't wanna live rides' hahahaha!

My cute grandpaaaa

Yongin Everland

Our dinner that night was Ginseng Chicken Soup with rice and noodles.

and..not forgetting the must have condiments as well

I want to go back Yongin Everland one day!!!

Eeewww...and my legs is very disgusting now. ALL THANKS TO LIDO'S MACDONALDS CHAIR!
I will blog about it some other day.
Next post will be Day 5 and 6 of my Korea trip. Stay tuned!

"An-Neo-Ha-Sae-Yeo!"

This was one of the Korean greetings I've learnt for the past six days in Korea, which means Hello or 'Ni Hao'.
Yes, I'm back from Korea. And my body is trying to adjust back to its normal temperature.
The temperature in Korea is freezing cold. Sooooo cold till my hands went numb. And it's peeling very badly now due to the dryness. Not forgetting my poor face and nose. I'm feeling very itchy all over!!! I Hope it will recover soon.
Took many many pictures while in Korea. TWO cameras for that past six days which add up to a total of prolly 300+ to 400 pics.

So, on the last day of Sitex show, I managed to sell six lappies within two hours.
I could have sold more on that very last day but sadly, I got to leave early to do some last minute packing.
I think I only sold like 15 sets of laptops in this show. That's very little compared to the very first time I worked for Lenovo. Oh wells, at least I can see some moo lahs coming in now.

Left for airport at around 7pm. After checking in our luggage and etc, we headed over to Burger King at Terminal 1.
My step Dad, Mum, Bro and step sis sent us off.

The FIRST holiday (with the family) after sooooooooooooo long. Aunty Iris and Alison joined us too.

We took Asiana Airlines. Don't ask me what airline is that because I've not heard about it before until that day when I left for Korea.
But I must say, Asiana Airlines is superb! Every seat has its own TV, remote control, etc. And I had a chance to watch those movies that I've not watched before like Mama Mia, White Christmas, Beverly Hills ChiHuaHua and some other short films. If I'm not wrong, Asiana Airlines is a member of Star Alliance.
It took us about 5 hours to reach Incheon International Airport. When we reached the Airport, it was about 6+ going 7 in the morning.
Went for breakfast at MacDonalds before meeting up with the tour group at 745am!

My Aunt and Uncle whom I've been living with for the past TWENTY TWO years of my life.

My very cute Grandfather

Our first destination was MBC Filming Studio. The filming site of the Korean drama serial "Da Chang Jin (Dae Jang Geum)." It showcases the traditional provinces in the studio with magnificent sceneries and landscape.
When we got down the bus, I was practically shivering! The weather was really COLD! NO JOKE! Though there were sun, it was still very very VERY EXTREMELY cold. I wore like 3 layers inside + my winter jacket and it's STILL not enough. It was SUPER cold to the power of 10000000000.

Look at how my uncle and cheryl cover themselves. HAHAHAH!

HAHAHA!

MBC Filming Studio

After visiting the studio, we proceed over to ChunCheon to take a boat ride to Nami Island, the filming site of the popular Korean drama serial, "Winter Sonata"

Nami Island

At night, we went over to explore Abai Village, the filming site of "Autumn in my heart." My FAVOURITE and prolly the ONLY Korean drama serial I watched!!! How can I not pose for a pic?? lols.

I know, I looked SUPER funny

Day 2 Lunch and Dinner

The standard condiments in EVERY meal. Can you believe it? Koreans MUST have these condiments in EVERY meal. Especially Kimchi! I'm so sick of tau gay now. And I still think kimchi taste weird.

Yeah, that pretty much sums up Day 1 and 2 of my Korea trip.
Day 3 to 6 will be posted up another day. :)

It's TWO weeks to my sister's BIG day and till now, I've not gotten my white gown for the church service yet.
I'm excited about the wedding yet feeling a sense of sadness inside because, we have been living together since young and now that she has found herself a great husband, it's time for her to shift out and start her own family. The house will be so DIFFERENT without her. No more "Sophiaaaaa....Come here or Sophiaaaaaaa.....the shoe match or not, etc"
I think I will tear on her big day. Of cos, it's tears of JOY! =)

Town with E and F tomorrow. We have loads to catch up my girls.
