I have been questioned why I closed/deleted my blog from many people.
Firstly, random strangers are disturbing my friends and passing crude remarks about them.
Hello? This is my blog. It has nothing to do with my friends. And I seriously have no idea why are there people who are so concerned about our lives till whatever things we do, affects their own lives as well?
I mean, I'm just an ordinary girl. Infact, more ordinary than any other ordinary girls.

I'm not someone who is materialistic. I don't blog about the luxury/branded goods I bought. Infact, I don't think I own any of them?
I'm a very simpe person. I love going to coffeeshop and have carrot cake or hokkien mee or better still my favourite fishball noodles with a can of coke or china apple or my all time favourite milk tea from sweet talk.
Aunty? No life? Whatever you named me, I don't care. But please, leave my friends alone. Don't try to sow discord between us because it will never work.
My friends and I have been through so much with each other. We ourselves know one another flaws. So, quit doing what you people are trying to do.

Someone once told me this "why are you bothered about what others think? You are living for yourself and not for others"
Come to think of it, true isn't it?

Whatever it is, this site is back and alive and it will be better. :)

bowling, zouking, ndp preview

Last week's sport activity was bowling. Yay!! I manage to keep the 'do a sport weekly' activity going. :)

This week activity will be Night Cycling! 7th-8th August. It'll be my first time joining such an even with school. Although this is not the first time I'm going for night cycling, I'm feeling kinda excited about it because it's the first time I'm joining such an event under school and I'm thinking whether will it be as fun as the annual night cycling with the youths.
Talking about the youths, we're going to have our annual night cycling this year during National Day. 9th-10th August! And again, I can't go. :(
I'll be at the platform cheering and shouting Happy Birthday Singapore! Oh my goodness, I just realised I have been involved in NDP since 2004. How patrotic ah! I have like a collection of passes man. hah!

So anyways, bowling was fun though I admit I suck at it.
The first few rounds, my ball kept going in to the 'long kang' but after you get the hang of it, it's kinda addictive.
Als booked the bowling alley from 7pm all the way till 10pm. We went up to his place for fellowship after that.
There were like 3 different groups that night. One group was playing guitar and singing to the beat. Another group was planning the route for the annual night cycling and I think the last group was learning how to read chinese? Yes, most of the youths in our Church has problems reading Chinese! lols.

The next day when I woke up, I spent some quiet time doing this book called Your Life in Christ - Design for Dicipleship. It's so rare to see me spending quiet time with God but the first topic of the book caught my attention and while I was reading, this sentence caught my eye - "God notices you. The fact is he can't take his eyes off you. However badly you think of yourself, God is in love with you. Some of us even fear that someday we'll do something so bad that he won't notice us anymore. Well, let me tell you. God loves you completely...and in the love of God there are no degrees, there is only love."

Wow! Amazing isn't it? After I read that sentence, I was totally lost for words. It's so true. God's love is definitely the greatest love of all. :)

I missed the annual Festival Of Praise yet again because I was rushing for assignment and I totally lost track of the time!!!
Headed town to meet E and we settled down at LJS for our dinner.
Accompanied her to zouk to get citibank chop and we went all the way to the back of the hotel, the nearby riverside to wait for the rest to arrive.

Fyonne darling came down after her work and oh my gosh, I realised we are DEFG!
Matt's friends came as well and man, that night was great because I had the wonderful company of Dawnie, Elaine and Fyonne. Okie, and maybe leo and his other girlfriends who went missing after that.

I lost count of the number of "twist" we did that night. lols

The night ended off with a plate of mee goreng followed by a can of coke. And oh, Happy 21st Birthday Matt! I think this will probably be one of his most memorable birthday because he got to spend it with new friends. heehee.

Surprisingly, I was quite hyper for NDP Preview the next day.
The guys were damn shagged because after zouk, they went back home to wash up and head back straight to camp to prepare for NDP.

Our cluster celebrated our head Head Mentor's 25th birthday! Looks like every year he got to go through the same old "punishment." haha.

And guess what? That very night, I got stalked by a very old uncle who insists on sending me home! The whole situation was damn freaking scarrrry. I was ALONE at the bus stop somemore. Gosh!
I've learnt my lesson. Never take Night Rider in a super wu lu bus stop!
What pissed me off was after waiting 45 mins for the ~~bloody~~ Night Rider, it zoomed pass me JUST LIKE THAT! There goes my 18 bucks on cab!! :(

Week 3 of school

School has already started for three weeks. How time flies!
And man, this week zooooom pass so so fast. So fast that when I looked at the calender this afternoon, I realised man....it's the end of July already.
Half a year gone just like that and it got me thinking, what have I been doing for the past 6 months?

Studying in SIM was probably one of the toughest decision I have to make in my life.
Firstly, the most important factor is none other than finance. I mean, yes, my dad has the capability of supporting my school fees and all but then again, 30K is a HUGE amount and not forgetting modules which I've failed. That's like additional 1K++.
Secondly, TO ME (this is my OWN opinion, I'm not sterotyping anybody), I feel its quite impossible for an ITE graduate to end up as a degree holder.
In my entire years of education, I'm someone who somehow do things at the very last minute. Take for example during exam period, I'll only start revising for it like 1-2weeks before? and during test week, I'll take like 1-2 days before to revise for it. I'm someone who learn things very slow and I truly admire those people who don't turn up for lectures and worse, don't revise for anything and yet end up acheiving super good results.
Maybe that explains why I ended up in ITE and feel it's quite impossible for me to become a degree holder.
Frankly speaking, what motivate me to continue studying after my diploma is actually my siblings. Yes, BOTH of them. My brother and sister.
I remembered attending my brother's convocation at SIM and also my sister's convocation at NUS few years ago and I told myself I WANT TO WEAR THAT HAT someday and enter into the working society with pride!!
But then again, can I pass the first stage? I still have three more modules from sem 1/2 to clear.
People say studying is easy as long as you put your whole heart into it to focus and concentrate. And seriously, I feel my life is in a mess now. I have zero clues on what I want.

On a total irrelvant note, after lecture today, we had project meeting to discuss on our 5000 words Buyer Behaviour project.
We were discussing on what product to do and then a friend of ours, tried to be funny by saying condoms. And I have no idea why it suddenly link to sperms. Fyonne and Kevin had a very funny conversation.
F: "Kevin, do you know you can donate your sperms?"
K: "Donate? No way man, later everybody call me daddy"
and we both started laughing. The way Kevin speaks is like as though he's rushing for a train!!!
It's my first time working with a different group of people and I hope everything will turn out fine. :)

On the actual day of Fyonne's birthday, I planned out some tasks for her to complete but sadly, due to Monday blues, town was very quiet and none of us had the mood to enjoy.
So, her mission to complete the tasks failed. :( Sadly, Jeane dear couldn't join us because she was sick. I hope she's feeling better now.
We had Hong Kong Cafe for dinner.
Kenny and ZK came down to town to look for us. We had a few rounds of L4D.
They went for drinking session while I took the last second bus and yep, it was a super loooong journey home.
I love taking bus at night alone. Especially when it's a loooong journey home. hah! Weird ah? But well, I find it damn peaceful.

No pictures in this entry because Blogger is giving me problems AGAIN!!!

School has started and I'm so not liking it. All of a sudden, I dislike school. Everything changed. Things are not the same as before.
I feel so lost. Like as though I'm at the crossroad, deciding on which path to go or which direction to follow.
I feel like a loser for not wanting or more likely not daring to speak up.
Is like as though everything is already ~~well~~ planned and I have no say at all.
But well, I'm glad that despite everything that has happened, I have supportive friends around me and that is good enough. :D

Anyways, the whole of last week was kinda hectic.
First three days of the week, I had lessons till 6.30PM EVERYDAY!
Wednesday was Fyonne's 21st birthday chalet.

After class on Wednesday, Josh drove Jeane, Jackson and myself to TampinesOne to collect Fyonne's birthday cake at Bakerzin.
Afterwhich, we headed down to Aranda Country Club; where her party was held.
The theme for her 21st Birthday was Occupation! I wanted to go, dressed in a super skinny jeans + super HIGH heels with bikini and my biker jacket and posed as a supermodel. Of cos, I didn't because that will be too "outstanding." lols.
In the end, I decided to dress up as a NDP Motivator! HAHAHA!!!
I only managed to dig out my 2004 NDP Motivator uniform the night before because I couldn't think of any other "occupation" to dress up in.

That night, we started drinking at around 11pm. All the way till around 615am the next day.
We had Vodka Peach, Martell, Hennessy, Heineken and several bottles of wine. Surprisingly, none of us were drunk that night except for Jeane who was feeling quite giddy and ended up being the first person to KO.
I only managed to sleep at around 7am+ and woke up at 12 for Mac lunch.

Josh drove Kristin and myself home to wash up abit before heading back to the chalet to help Fyonne prepare the steamboat dinner.
Her guests came at around 630pm and I was "maria" for the day while Josh was the "ahmud." lols.
We had our second round of drinking at night.
This time round, it was with a different group of people.
We finished 4 bottles of wine, 1 bottle of champagne, vodka mango and the left over heineken that night.
EVERYTHING was gone that night. And that night was the most terrible night of the chalet. Thanks to one of our DEAR FRIEND who created a scene.
Man, I just realised, our liver has been seriously damaged for two nights!!

By the time I got home, it was already 11am. Took a short nap and woke for SCHOOL!
Yes, I went to school despite how sleepy and tired I was.
I didn't want to miss out any lesson. :)
Town with the 3 Js after school. We had Ramen Tei at Far East because I was craving for tom yum noodles. yeah, tom yum is love!
Elaine came over to look for us and we went for L4D session at Meridien.
Man, it has been months since I last touched L4D. And I admit, I suck at it now.

Saturday was as usual, NDP. It was NE show 2 and because I didn't had enough rest/sleep, I was down with very bad flu.
Was contemplating if I should went because I was feeling really lazy, shagged and tired.
Decided to go in the end due to lack of manpower.
Couldn't attend GF's 21st party at Powerhouse because NDP ended late.

That somehow summarise the whole of last week.
And till now, I still think I havent slept enough yet.
Been waking up early almost everyday since Friday.

Yesterday was Fyonne's actual birthday.
Yay, now EFG are all legal to do anything. Can even catch a R21 movie together!! Saw sounds nice? Hahaha!! But then again, will there be a Saw 6 coming up?
L4D again at Meridien because we had nothing to do. Kenny and ZK joined us too! :)

Woke up early again today to head down to CDC for my final theory e-trial test.
I hope I'll pass the test tomorrow. I can't wait to start my practical lessons!!!

And yes, I NEED A PART-TIME JOB!

BBQ Gathering

No fishballs at the BBQ. But, there were fishcakes! :)
I felt so loved that night because the guys and dawnie were bbq-ing the food while I sat down at some corner waiting for food. heehee. Not that I don't want to bbq. I just don't want to have the bbq smell all over me.

The bbq was held at Ah Ber's place (as usual). His place has like almost everything. (Except for a swimming pool). He lives in this 3 storey Terrace house at Tanah Merah and even has a recreational room located at the top storey!!! The last time I went over to his place, it was super tidy. The moment we entered his room on Friday, it was in a complete mess. haha!
This gathering reminds me of the last time we were at his place..

Look how young we were back then..haha! Okay, not like we're very old now! I think this was taken three years back! See my super gold hair? Looked like some Ah Lian from the streets right? HAHAHA!
Back then, we were still using normal digital cameras. Now, there's DSLR cameras.
Oh, and I'm in love with the two DSLR cameras that night that I went around snapping away....

That Friday was well spent! :)

Yesterday's NDP NE show1 was crazy.
The sudden heavy downpour caused six of our motivators to feel unwell. Most, infact ALL of us were soaked in the rain. It's like bathing with clothes on. NO JOKE!
By the time we ran to the shelter, we were all already drenched like mad.
My shoes, hp, papers, etc, were all soaked in water. And thank goodness, my phone is still alive because I havent upload most of the photos in my phone!
And I felt sooooo bad for making shawn wait for me. Felt even more bad that I have to call my uncle to come and pick us up, making him lose a customer.

And it's the first day of school tomorrow. Man, I'm soooooo NOT prepared. Its like soooooooo sudden!

The ~~stupid~~ Nobody song by Wondergirls has been running in my mind since WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
The first time I heard this song was during this year's PC show. It's like the theme song man. Every (and I seriously meant EVERY) booth were blasting to this song. Even our own booth were playing their MTV.
That four days of PC show was a torture because we can't stop singing "I want nobody nobody but you" And just when I'm "recovering" from this whole nobody madness, Elaine played the song on her hp last night. And there it goes...the "I want nobody nobody but you" sickness is back! MY GOSH!

Okay, school is starting in four days time. So, last night after one month of self-quarantined from clubs, we decided to head down zouk to cure my mambo itchyness. (Though a part of me don't feel like partying cos of the H1N1 virus)
Before that, we had our all time favourite Thai food at the usual place. I seriously don't mind having tom yum soup everyday. Of cos, if there's FISHBALLS inside the soup, it will be better! heehee.

We ended up at Dbl 0 because there's free drinks for ladies. Haha! Who wouldn't want free stuff? And so, when we reached Dbl0, we went straight in to the drinks counter and ordered 4 shots. After the first shot, we continued with our second and the third and the fourth.....all the way till 6-7 shots before going back to zouk.

When we went back to zouk, I couldn't enter because the thermometer reads 37.9 degrees.
No, I wasn't down with fever. Was just feeling hot due to the shots and so because of that, I wasn't allowed to enter. tsk!
Cooled down for about 1/2 an hr before entering zouk to look for Victor the sister.
It's gooooood to see him after sooooooo long. Sigh, I miss having supper with this "sister" of mine. Everytime when I meet him for supper, we never fail to have the Prawn Mee at TPY Lor 8. I miss my days at TPY!!!

Five days since I bid goodbye to my long hair. I'm still not getting used to the length though.
I told myself I'll never want to cut my hair short anymore after it grows. I seriously feel like I'm some Sec four kid now. lols.

Thursday was EFG night out! Fyonne dear finally came back after one month and it is good to have her back with us again! She came back with lots of goodies for us and I love the spectacles she made for me. :)
Chilled at Gloria Jeans, updating and catching up with one another about our lives. Mr Jackson came and look for us after his dinner and we continued to chit-chat till about 12 midnight.
Surprisingly, none of us had the urge to party the next day. Part of it is probably due to the H1N1 virus. Part of it is also I'm quite tired of it.
So anyways, Jacko gave the three of us a lift to Chinatown New Bridge Road to look for F's friend. I'm amazed by this friend of hers.
He owns a scuba diving shop called 51 Scuba. He's also a scuba diving instructor and he's the manager of 51 Scuba! And what amazed me is, he's ONLY 23!

We cabbed back to town after our frog porridge supper.
Went over to Balcony to have a couple of drinks. It was my virgin trip to Balcony and I must say the atmosphere is superb.
Decided to call it a night at 3am.

Caught transformers the next day. And I must say it's a good movie. (though I kinda forgotten part 1)
The whole movie lasted for about 2.5hrs and by the time I got home, it was already 3am++.
Woke up early the next day for NDP2009 Combined Rehearsel 3.

NDP as usual, was okay but yet tiring at the same time. Weather was hot that day too.
I gave away two of my blue sector tickets to the first time helpers but managed to get 4 green sector tickets back in return. hohoho!
Dawnie, Goodfriend and Chloe were all in Green Sector. It was way tooo far for me to walk over and look for them. Thank goodness, both Elaine and Fyonne managed to get tickets for the blue sector. :)

Rehearsels ended at around 10pm. Popeyes with the other TOUCH mentors.
It's really fun to work with these bunch of people though at times some of us will flare up. Too bad Ivy couldn't join this year if not it'll be even more fun.
This saturday will be NE Show 1.

And 13th July will be the first day of school. When is my pay coming in???

New sem, new look

After soooooo long, I finally bid goodbye to my looooooong hair.
It took me quite a lot of courage to have it chopped off and finally, after years of procrastinating, I got it chopped off at Jean Yip yesterday. Thanks to bestie for allowing me to use her package - Wash, Cut and Blow for the price of $22!
Somehow, I kinda regret because, hair is considered quite an important asset for a girl (well, at least to me) and I'm so used to having long hair already. :(

This afternoon when I woke up, I looked at myself in the mirror, only to realise my hair is SHORT now.

I think I'll need more time to adapt to this new look of mine.

Dawnie, Samantha, Elaine and Fyonne was the first four friends who saw this new look. All commented that I looked erm...younger (okay, that's a good thing. hah) and of course sweeter? haha! I don't know. To me I feel like I'm back to my secondary school days!

And frankly speaking, I'm sooooo not used to this hairstyle but hey, UGLY IS THE NEW BEAUTIFUL!

We all have some, want more and dream about winning enough to quit work and jet around the world. And, it seems that money is never enough.
Money is always an issue for people. Yes, people like me. Infact, it is one of the major issue now in my life.
Thanks to the current economic climate, it was indeed difficult to find a permanent part time job during my holidays. And now, school is starting in two weeks time.
How can I survive with less than 50 bucks in my bank? My gosh, I've never felt so broke before in my entire life. hahaha!

But well, there's three things to look forward for.
1) Clarins pay
2) PC Show pay
3) and of cos.....GST package! :)

Father's Day dinner

Father's day dinner on Wednesday night was held at some Peranakan Restaurant near Upper Thomson Road.
Food was great. Especially the curry fish head and my all-time favourite lady's fingers.
It has been a loooong time since the whole lot of us sat down together for a meal like this. Even our domestic maid were there. And my future sister-in-law as well. (damnit, when my brother gets married this end of year, I'll be left all alone.)

Wanted to head to Geylang for durian feast after the dinner but our stomach were all bloated by then.

Brought my mum to CGH in the morning for her check-up. Had health screening and all and the moment I started sneezing, the nurse asked me to walk through the screening again. And we were made to wear the mask. Like I said, I'm not afraid I'll get infected by H1N1. I'm more afraid I'll infect the people around me.

I had a hard time breathing actually
Anyways, I'm relieved to hear that my mum is in stable condition now. And I'm glad she is eating more than her usual meal. :) She looks sooo much better compared to last two weeks when I visited her in the hospital.
I hope her condition will be better and obviously I'm hoping that she will come to know the Lord and not be corrupted by that ~~sickening~~ stepfather of mine!

Thursday was the meetup/catch up day!
Finally after -I can't remember- how many months or maybe even years, I met Patricia; a secondary school senior of mine.
Had a great time catching up with her. :) It's been ages man!
After her, it was Jeremy brother. This "brother" of mine is leaving for London to further his studies for four years. I thought he's migrating. Chey!! lols.
Had a goood time at Cafe Cartel talking about the good old days. How we actually met and ended up being friends. I'm happy that he found his partner. He's not the old Jeremy anymore - quoted by himself. hah!

Yes, I was at Butterfactory last Wednesday. And the latest news I heard is, there's NINE cases of H1N1 reported at Butterfactory last Wednesday.
Well, thanks for those who asked if I'm okay. I don't know if you people are afraid I'll implicate you guys or whether you people truly cares. But whatever it is, I'm fine! I'm down with flu though.
And no doubt, I admit, I'm feeling very paranoid about this whole H1N1. Why? Well, firstly, I'm not afraid of me getting the disease. What I'm more afraid of is my family members and friends around me will get infected.
I'm out there partying and playing while my family members are out there working hard. IF any of us really got the disease, then I think I'll most likely be the culprit and I'll be guilty for the rest of my life.
So, right now, I've decided to STOP yes, I repeat STOP partying or head to any crowded places. NOT even pubs to have a drink. I don't wanna implicate my loved ones.

Oh, and I JUST received an email from my big boss that one NDP Motivator from Republic Poly has been tested positive for H1N1. Now, the whole cluster has been quarantined.
And so because of this, the whole ndp motivators including us (mentors) will need to check our temperature and bring our personal thermometer every sat for rehearsels.

I'm feeling even more paranoid now.

It's been ages since I last felt upset over someone. And this feeling sucks totally. And I hope, this ~~sucky~~ feeling will not stay inside me for long because I can't help but keep thinking.
It's never easy to understand someone.

Okay anyways, after two weeks of busy working, we headed down to Butterfactory on Wednesday. Summer joined us for the very first time and man, it's been like what? 4372962 years since we partied together!
Thanks to Mr Liu for making his trip down from work just to get all five of us in. Deeply appreciated!!

Friday night was Ross Tooley's seminar in Church.
The moment I entered church, my sister was kinda shocked to see me. I think she finds it shocked that I'm actually in church on a Friday night. Hah!
Firstly, Friday is the only day I can really catch up with my friends and it's the only day I'll stay out till late.
So, It's very very VERY rare to see me in church on a Friday night. But oh wells, I'm glad I went. The seminar was great. The speaker made me stay awake throughout the whole two hours of seminar. And I enjoyed the fellowship with the GEL youth after the seminar.
I finally ease my cravings for Bedok 85 Satay Bee Hoon! :)

NDP2009 first combined rehearsel at Marina Platform the next day.
Frankly speaking, this is the messiest ndp so far. Everything was not according to plan and I was kinda lost most of the time.
The weather was unbearable. The sun was so hot that you could fry an omelette. I'm so sure I'm gonna have weird tanned lines after the whole rehearsels. /dang.
And this year, our holding area is at the F1 pit.

Met up with Peh and Jerome for a short catch up. Sergeant Ng was busy carrying the barricades and so, I didn't had the chance to talk to him.
Was great bumping into them at the platform. I think that's the only way we can do our catch up because ever since the guys entered the army, instead of us (the girls) being busy, its the other way round now!

Anyways, I'm thinking of closing down this online diary of mine and switch back to the times where we write our daily happenings/thoughts in a book. Why? I think it's kinda fun because by writing in a book, you can do whatever you want. Scribble, sketch, draw nonsense stuff, etc.
But then again, do I really have so much time to actually do all those?
School's starting in mid July. And this week will probably be my last week of enjoyment because next week onwards, I'm gonna start studying for my accounting.

Final theory test tomorrow and somehow I'm not prepared for it.

Last night, Chloe and myself attended Melvin's wedding dinner at Singapore Expo Bliss Garden Restaurant.
Talking about Melvin, it's weird how the both of us actually met.
This friend of mine is actually my used to be best buddy; Eddie's bunkmate back in their army days. And back in those days, both Melvin and I actually "dated" each other.
Come to think of it, I think it's kinda funny that I somehow lost contact with Eddie and became Melvin's goodfriend.
And no doubt, I'm happy for this friend of mine because he finally found his lifetime partner. =)

The four days of PC show ended last night. Man, I'm so deprived of my sleep.
Frankly speaking, out of all the IT fairs/PC shows I've worked, this is so far the worst show ever. Eleven laptops sold in four days is only equivalent to $110 of commission.
But well, one good thing about this show is that I've made awesome friends. Thus, I've decided to give Dell another chance and hope the next PC show will be a better one. hah!

Last Tuesday, I made my virgin trip to Siglap. Yes, I've never been to Siglap! oh, what a noob.
E and myself got invited by Nic to attend his birthday celebration at Georges. By the time we both arrived, together with Stan and Bear, Nic was already half gone.
Both E and myself went around exploring Siglap while the rest drank with Nic.
And I was shocked to see the loooooong queue at Siglap's Gelare. I didn't know Siglap was that happening.

Nic ordered five towers of beer. That explains why he was gone so fast!

Now that PC show has ended, I'll have about 2-3 more weeks of holidays before school re-opens in Mid July.
Sigh, I don't know if I made the right decision to take only three modules next sem.
Taking three modules next sem would mean pushing my graduation for another sem. But like what the advisor say, I should drop a module and focus on one instead of two. I hope this time round, I'll pass. I never want to see the same lecturer's face again!!!

For the past few days, I haven't been feeling too good. I tried keeping myself busy by working and doing whatever things so that I won't keep thinking about things which has already happened.
No doubt, times when I'm alone, thoughts just kept flowing through my mind.
I always thought I was strong. But its times like this which made me realised how weak I am.
Just because of one rotten tree in the forest, I gave up the entire forest without checking the other trees.

People always say "failure is the road to success". I used to believe in this sentence and I don't know if I should believe in this sentence one more time.

It's never easy to cure a disappointment. Nobody said it was.

Three days of torture has ended.
The full-time staff gave me six samples to try because I've never used Clarins products before. These six samples include two One-step cleanser, Toner, Hydra Quench Bi-Phase Serum, Hydra Quench Cream and Intensive facial mask.
Good thing about working under cosmetics/skin-care company is that they'll teach you the correct way to cleanse your face and what kind of cleanser/toner/moisturizer is suitable for your skin.
After working for Clarins, I began to worry about my eyes because I've never use a specific eye make-up remover to remove my eyeliner/eye shadows before.
I must say the full-time staff at Parkway Parade was sooo friendly and approachable that she took her free time to advise me on the steps to proper skin care.

I always thought using facial make-up remover wipes is good enough to clean off your make-up but man, I WAS SO WRONG!
That explains why I always have fine lines/wrinkles.
After hearing what the beauty specialist say, I got so worried that I immediately msg a friend of mine to accompany me to get all the necessary moisturizers/toners/removers, etc.
Suddenly, I realised it's kinda too late for me to really understand the importance of skin care because I'm 23 already. No more eighteens and twentyones! I feel so old now! :(

Actually, I think these three days is not that bad afterall. At least I've learnt something new and gained a new experience. The interview, the audition and the training, it all came in handy.

Now that Clarins assignment is done, next up will be IT Fair from 11th-14th June.
This time round, I'll be transferred over to Dell. No more Lenovo. (though it's still under the same company) Anyone interested to get a laptop, do not hesitate to look for probably the erm... slimmest girl in Dell.

F1 casting at 2pm later. Still deciding if I should go because there's so many things happening today!!
Back to office to return uniform and timesheet. Then it's window-shopping with E followed by dinner with Mr Ng and airport in the night to send the GEL team off to Cebu for mission trip.

This is the time of a serious major decision making. When I say serious, I really meant serious. Nothing relating to the ~~damn~~ casting. It's something MORE serious than that.

Picnic at East Coast Park with the Irreplaceable Girlfriends!

After four months, I finally met up with my girlfriends!
Sabrina; the planning head planned a mini picnic at East Coast Park.
We met at around 5pm and settled down near ECP food centre.
Layed our mats and happily sat down, talking, catching up and updating each other about our lives.
For 45 mins, we were chatting happily till sabby and myself felt something poking our thighs.
At first, we thought it was the grass and so, we beared with the pain (because at that time, we were waiting for Tanweishan to arrive)
But after awhile, our thighs felt itchy and I seriously couldn't take it anymore. I stood up, flipped over my mat and I got a shocked of my life!
The mat was infested with RED ANTS!! YES! BIG RED BLOODY ANTS!
I'm feeling very disgusted now as I think about the RED ANTS. Can you imagine? We were sitting on red ants for 45 mins and we didn't know? And when I say infested with red ants, I really meant infested. The whole mat was basically filled with red ants! I'M NOT KIDDING!
I threw the mat without even sweeping the ants away. And thanks to them, you can spot few spots on my thighs now. DAMN GROSS!

WomanILove came after two hours. We continued with our girls talk and recently, I realised many of my friends are having relationship problems.
Till date, I have at least 6 friends undergoing BGR problems.
It is times like this which makes me not want to be in a relationship. Well, I guess this is part and parcel of life isn't it?
Oh wells, whatever it is, I hope my two girlfriends are coping well.

There's this saying "it is by chance we met, by choice we became friends" and yes, I'm glad I made the correct choice and I thank God for giving me a chance to meet this wonderful girl. Without her, school will never be fun.

Tears rolled down while we bid our final goodbyes and gave our final warmest hugs.
Like what F says "absence makes the heart grows fonder." It is true! I am already counting down to July 1st.
Now, it is times like this that I'm hoping time will faster fly.

East Coast Park - our short getaway

Dinner at Timbre was eventually cancelled due to miscommunication.
Wednesday's dinner at Koufu was a lil awkward but well, everything is settled. :)
E and F went butterfactory while Jeane and myself headed home. I'm sure that bimbo cousin of mine thinks that i'm mambo-ing because when I got home, she was asleep.
So anyways, Fyonne dear suggested doing some cheap thrill activities and we decided to head down to East Coast Park to cycle.
And since the four of has never do such activity before, we all agreed.

All ready to set off!
We wanted to rent for just one hour but the people at the bicycle stall gave us about 2.5 hrs instead for just $6! Not bad ah!
We cycled all the way to East Coast Hawker Centre and settled our dinner there.
It's been ages since I cycled and after cycling for 45 mins, I perspired like mad! Hah! Not bad, this is a good start to leading a healthy lifestyle. Yeah! :)
Talking about leading a healthy lifestyle, I need to start doing some sports and exercise my lungs. I realised I've been having asthma attacks quite often recently.

I can't remember when was the last time I actually played L4D. I think it was before exams? And that is like two months ago? Man, I totally suck at it now. But then again, L4D is getting quite boring already. Oh, and last night's game was great! The 5 of us played against Stanley and his friends. 2 hours of killing zombies/humans was good. hah! I had a good time erm... de-stressing?

Last night, I had a terrible night. I couldnt sleep at all because I was feeling very breatheless and I've already used up my inhaler.
This afternoon, I headed down to polyclinic and man, I was categorized under "special patient".
I was told to go straight up to level 2 (Without queue-ing) and have my lungs checked.
The moment I told the nurses at the entrance that I have a cough and flu, they passed me a mask and asked me to wear it immediately.
I was given a different colour sticker to differentiate those "special" and normal cases.
I looked myself into the reflection of the sliding glass door and I can't help but find it weird to be wearing a mask.
I was sooooo tempted to snap a pic of myself in the so-called N95 mask but there were too many other patients around. haha.

So, I was told to go back to the asthma clinic two weeks later for a review as the doc says that my chest are rather tight.
I'm kinda worried for my future kids. I seriously hope they won't go through what I'm going through now and of cos I don't wanna see them suffer like how I suffered.

And it all brings back to leading a healthy lifestyle! :D

Last night chilling session was great.
Sadly, the pub that we wanted to go (at East Coast Park) was already closed by the time we reached ECP. It was already 1215am by the time we got there.
And so, we had our all time favourite tao huay at Geylang Lor 27A.
Back to the east at around 2am.
We sat down by the poolside drinking and talking about irritating jerks and why some people like to boast about their lives.

I love nights like these. No partying, no "shouting" in clubs, no moodswings, etc.
Just a night of chilling by the poolside, spinning around the east and talking about everything under the moonlight. :)

Oh, and I picked up a coconut from a coconut tree. She shall be named coco.

Loof and Butterfactory

Everyone is talking about Butterfactory now. And so, after hearing so many comments about how hip that place is, we decided to head down to check that place out.
The virgin trip to Butterfactory was not fun at all. Probably is due to the fact that we had some misunderstandings before that and it kinda spoils the mood. The songs and all were great though.
Before heading down to Butter, we were over at Loof located at Odean Towers.
It's also my virgin trip there and I'll probably head back to there one day if I have the money.

We only managed to reach Butter at around 12am. And I was shocked to see the queue outside Butter. Thank goodness, GF's friend signed us in through the VIP queue because by the time we reached, the ladies queue was already gone.
One thing that pissed me off was that they kept checking our bags! And when the bouncer saw my water bottle in my bag, he literally took out the bottle and threw it on the floor. I mean, shouldn't he be more polite and tell me nicely that he got to confiscate the water bottle?
So anyways, we squeezed our way through and ended up in the R&B room.

GEL Sentosa outing was fun! Most of the time when I'm at Sentosa, I'll just lay the mat on the sand and lie down till I'm toasted. This time round, we had a time of Frisbee, Volleyball and Captain's ball.
The only bad incident that happened was, Sarah got to be rushed to hospital due to dislocation of her thumb bone. This happened while some of the youths were playing volleyball.
But I guess, she's fine and recuperating at home now. :)
The sun was superb yesterday. And no doubt, my body is roasted now.

Life has been pretty much mundane these days. It's either work, home, sleep, TV, meetups or town.
Well, that's what holidays are for isn't it?
But hey, what I really want is a part time job to secure my income!!!
Been taking up whatever available assignments on hand so that I can pay off my HP debt of 5 months and of cos to pay for my driving lessons as well.
I don't understand how can one say he/she is independent when the fact is he/she don't even work at all. What's the definition of independent to him/her? Hmmm....I wonder.

Wednesday was what I called the "hunting for cheap thrills" day!
Met E and J at Bugis and we combed the whole of Bugis Street. That place is practically having some music competition. Every stall is blasting their songs like as though the customers can't hear. Decided to head to town after grabbing a few nice tees and earrings.

Continued with our shopping spree and man, it's been ages since I last shopped like how I shopped on Wednesday. The feeling is great of cause. But somehow, I'll always suffer from post buyer behaviour. Hahaha!
Was contemplating if we should head down mambo since we had nothing to do and also I have not swipe my card for the longest time.
No prizes for guessing if we went or not. :)

And surprisingly, I'm looking forward for my Basic Theory Test and I can't wait to drive!!!! Yeah!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Singapore Flyer Date with GF was eventually cancelled. (so much of looking forward to it) :(
But wells, I guessed we did enjoy our night as well.
Headed down to Bugis to meet Elaine and Jeane then to powerhouse (again).
Jacko and Josh opened a bottle each and man, we couldn't stop drinking because the guys want us to finish the TWO bottles that night.
So, you can imagine how many glasses we drank.
Throughout the night, we were actually "running" here and there. After drinking, we'll hit the dancefloor for about 15 mins then to the restroom we go then to the locker area, etc. We practically kept walking around till all of us felt quite bored. lols.
Aaron, Alvin and Jingyang came and joined us. Its been five months since I last saw this group of friends. The last time I met them was last year's New Year's Eve countdown gathering at Beach Cabana?

The agent got so pissed with me that she sent me an sms. I didn't know what to do or what to say. Thank goodness, I never sign any contract! And I think my name somehow got blacklisted under her agency already. hah!

Last night Powerhouse was a blast.
It was a super last minute decision to head over to St James.
Went all the way to Serangoon to pick E up and we got lost around her area for almost 45 mins? Gab and myself practically went round and round the round about at Chomp Chomp. At that point of time, the song "Right Round" suits us best.
We finally reached her place at around 1230am?
Then, we spent the next 1/2 an hour making our way down to St James to look for F.

By the time we reached Powerhouse, it was already close to 115am?
Nevertheless, we still had fun and I did rekindle my "relationship" with Heineken. lols.
The never ending Heineken made all of us went crazy. We wasn't really that "crazy" though. Is just that its been about a month since we last touched alchohol. "Cheers to end of sem 1!!!"

There's always sooooo many issues running in my mind. Having to worry over the tiniest thing on earth. These days, believe it or not, I'm actually pondering about what's in store for my future. I know it's still early to say because I still have about 1.5 more years to complete my studies. But then again, look, if we never plan early, how can we even achieve our goals?
At the same time, a part of me feels that I'm not ready to enter the working society.
I'm like standing at a crossroad, deciding on which road to follow.

And all of a sudden, I'm stucked at that crossroad with no idea where to go on.

Yes yes, EXAMS are over!!!!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!
The one month of torture has finally come to an end.
Past one month was terrible. I don't remember me mugging THAT hard when I was in poly. This sem, I think I started studying like 3 weeks? before the first paper. Been travelling down to SMU to study with the mates in the afternoon. Then, down to T2's Mac at night to continue with F. We have turned into the regular customers of MacDonalds. heehee!
Well, I hope all these hard work will pay off. I NEVER want to repeat any modules anymore though I THINK there might be a slight chance of me failing stats. The lecturer said our batch is the first batch to change syllabus and so, past year papers (for stats) don't help at all. Most of the questions are from the textbook and the questions in the textbook are freaking hard.

I only had 1 and a half day to cramp stats into my brain. The day before stats paper, all of us were super gan chiong. I remembered I woke up early and try to attempt the questions from the textbook but to my horror, I could only do a few questions.
Din want to travel all the way down to the west to meet the mates cos it was way toooooo far.
But I'm glad, God is with me throughout this whole period. He helped me to be disciplined. He helped me to be focus and most importantly, He helped me to stay calm.
I don't know if I will pass this module. But I know one thing for sure is that, I must have FAITH LIKE POTATOES!! (Faith like potatoes is a very very inspiring movie.)

(Thats the only place I can spread every sheet of paper out)
Besides Airport, I somehow love studying at SMU too. The place we studied was filled with students not from SMU but students from SIM. Hah! And some others from NTU/NUS.
And furthermore, its so near to town! We never fail to go for L4D after studying. That period of time, L4D was like a de-stress tool. HAHAHA!

One of the erm...fun? times we had in SMU, Josh's car, Ah Chew Dessert, Bugis Wanton Mee, etc.. too many to name.
Oh, the mates went to watch 17 again on one of the Friday. It was so called our 'Girls Relaxing Day', to relax our brains from the hours of study marathon we had at SMU. :)
Man, it has beeeeeeen sooooo long since I last stepped into Cine.
And I can't remember when was the last time I actually went to town to shop. Now that exams are over, I can't wait to hang out with my girls!!!!

This week was occupied with meetups (before I go on a hiatus to mug for the exams), birthdays celebration and Good Friday.

I randomly attended Christian Fellowship one Wednesday in school. It was my first time "joining" such should I say CCA? and I'm amazed with the people in CF. Looking at them doing such great things for God, made me felt very guilty as I realised I've neglected my father up above.
Suddenly, something woke me up from all these ~~shit~~ nonsense. Why should I bother so much when there's other more important stuff for me to worry about? True isn't it?
I've got to constantly remind myself that things turn out this way not because of me. On the other hand, I've got to constantly remind myself too that I ~~want~~ need to be compassionate towards people with f.up attitude/character.
Oh wells, whatever it is, I think I should worry about my papers first rather than to go and think about all this stuff.

Thursday was what I called the running errands day!
Woke up early in the morning to head down to Century to get my phone repaired. Yes, my barely three months old phone is in the "ICU" now.
I don't know how it manage to jump out of my pocket and in to the toiletbowl. There goes ALL my saved sms and pictures.
Down to CDC to meet chloe to book for our basic theory test. FINALLY after soooo long!
Then to SMU to meet the uni mates to study.

This year, our church came up with a short musical to bring the message across to the unbelievers. Acting out to them the various scenes on how Jesus was captured and crucified 2000 years ago.
We reported in church at 10AM for a last and final rehearsel before the event starts.
Though the newcomers for youth is less then 10, I'm glad that everything turned out well.

The moment I reached the chalet, the uni mates were already drinking and enjoying themselves. And I got forced to drink as well. Wah, seems like I'm drinking every weekend uh! Man, this must stop! lols.

Jeane, Fyonne, Elaine and Myself stayed over at the chalet. Wensheng and Wee stayed with us till about 1am++. Wanted to head down to Elais Mall for Left4Dead but the lan shop closes at 1am.
Decided to grab a bite at Mac. The two guys left and the girls had a great time playing with Fyonne's wig, taking unglam and really uglified pictures which obviously will not be posted here. hah! We chatted, played, laughed till about 5am before calling it a night.
Hope you enjoyed ur night with us E. I certainly do. :)

Tampines One with smelly turtle the next day.
This guy is mad, he travels ALL THE WAY DOWN from YCK to Tampines just because he wants to check out Uni Qlo.
When we reached TampinesOne, the queue to Uniqlo was soooooooooooo freaking long that the management got to close the toilet. Yes, the queue was mad! Man, what's with Uniqlo? You even need to queue to enter the shop.
Sooner or later, it won't be that unique anymore.
And since we didn't manage to enter, we joined in the crowd and walked around TampinesOne, checking out the place.
TampinesOne is probably one of the plus point about staying in the east. Oh, and not forgetting downtown east too.

Woah, two birthdays straight in a row. The BIG B word strongly describes me now.
A few of us stayed in the chalet till about 1145pm to drink with the birthday boy.
And we fulfilled our mission by 12am. Haha. The birthday boy was so drunk that he KO outside the bench where we were sitting. He even got to be dragged to the room by the guys. Hah! Poor boy. I hope he's okie now.

And yes, tonight will be the start of my overnight study at the Airport.

Makan Place, Lost and Found

The day when my Dear GF got her tooth extracted.

Poor Girl..But you know, E and me still love you! :)
We accompanied F to the dentist to get her tooth extract for her braces this Tuesday.
Seeing the way the dentist "operated" on her tooth, I somehow got worried for mine too. I have this small tiny decay and like driving, I procrastinate for ages to see the dentist.

Talking about driving, I got to really thank Chloe for "pushing" me to register and apply for the test. If not I think I'll probably procrastinate again and again.
So yes, I'm going to register for my Basic Theory this coming Thursday. Hopefully everything will go smoothly.

Thursday was the last Business Statistics lecture.
Man, that means exams are really round the corner!
Infact, it's only THREE WEEKS AWAY! Eye bags and pimples will pop up soon! Airport and MacDonald's will be my favourite place for the next few weeks.
Can't wait for this whole mugging period to be over. We have already come up with our after exams activities! Haha!

Friday was EFG day! Friends who bumped into us kept asking us "u girls clubbing ah?"
That was like the first sentence they asked when they see us. I mean, do we girls really portray the 'clubbers/party animals' look? Sigh!
Dinner at Far East and we spent the whole night having some girls talk.
Recently, the three of us kept showing attitude towards each other. I guess its because exams are round the corner and all of us are feeling kinda stress.
I'm glad that whatever it is, we will always try to clear the disputes between us and talk things out nicely. :)

Couldn't decided on where to go. And so, we sat down at Gloria Jeans on a Friday night drinking coffee. Then, Gerald called and asked if we're interested to head down to boat quay for a drink. Since we had nothing on, why not?

And as usual, we had a couple of drinks yet again! This time round was Martell with Green Tea. If I'm not wrong, the guys opened two bottles? And we finished the two bottles that night.

money money money, Where's my money?

Yesterday, after procrastinating for 5 long years, I finally made my way down to ComfortDelgro Driving Centre with Chloe.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I din have a chance to register. And I suddenly have no motivation to continue registering for my basic theory anymore.
It took me soooo long to finally head down to the driving centre and I was really excited about registering. And then I realised, the money in my bank is not even enough for me to start with.

These days, money has become the biggest issue in my life.
Other than worrying about the upcoming exams, been taking up whatever last minute assignments here and there, wanting so hard to fend for myself. Sacrificing my sleeping time to wake up as early as 545am and trying hard to keep myself awake at work.

People take things for granted. Infact, I think most of us do.
How many of us are spending money like nobody's business?
How many of us are relying on our parents just to satisfy our wants?
How can one say he/she is independent when he/she is still relying on their parents? (I'm not judging any of my friends here just incase some people are senstive)

Growing up is hard. Very Very hard.

At difficult times like this, I’ve to constantly remind myself that drinking (alcohol) will not make things any better. lols.
It's time to cut down on the amount of alcohol intake and get my ass down to hit the library or the airport and start studying!

At this point in my life, the one thing that keeps me going is Mulberry Bayswater. - Someday you will be mine.

This weekend saw too much drinks (again).
Bottles after bottles, jugs after jugs.
At this rate I'm drinking, I think my liver is really going to kill me soon.
Friday afternoon, I met up with goooodfriend. We were supposed to study for our P&M test but we ended up walking around heeren, trying out the 1 for 1 havainas and walking around wisma searching for her dress.
Dined at Pasta De Waraku at Heeren's outlet and I only paid 5 bucks all thanks to goodfriend. :)
Started our less than an hour self-study at Spinelli while waiting for her lynnpam to arrive.

Down to wisma to get goodfriend's dress. This girl is mad. Seriously! She said she felt uncomfortable wearing what she was wearing and she needed a dress desperately to replace what she was wearing.

Waited for Miss E's arrival and we walked down to Cine. Goodfriend left us at around 1030pm for her wine date.
Elaine and myself then spend time with each other by sitting down at Gloria Jeans eating cheesecake and drinking coffee. Like some rich tai tai like that ah. haha!

The next day, I attended a friend's Commissioning Ball at Ritz Carlton.
And it somehow reminded me of my 159's Social Night!
WQ came over to my place at 530pm and poor boy, he was down with fever. And I felt so guilty that he got to take a cab ALL THE WAY from Marsiling to Pasir Ris and then to Ritz Carlton. See, Pasir Ris is soooooooo inconvenient!!!
I think WQ spent like over 50 bucks on transport that night.

We were one of the early birds who reached the hotel early.
Bumped into my secondary school Girl Guides junior; Rachel who was there as well.
And surprisingly, Cheryl was there too. The world is so small!!

My life has been pretty much occupied with school.
Test after test after test after test.
This coming tuesday will be the last test and then, it's exams!
My first paper will be in one month's time. And I'm feeling kinda stressed because this time round, the exam dates are like two days after each paper.
Been staying back in school lately to study till around 8pm.
Nothing much happened lately except that I'm "dealing" with some irritating sms here and there. Poor E and F too.

Left4Dead with the uni mates on Tuesday night was fun. It was my first time playing with Kenny and it was also my first time playing as zombies.
I guess L4D is the only way for me to destress now? lols.
Dinner was at this steak place at Cine. Buy one meal and you'll get another meal free. Cheap thrill.

Down with very very bad flu the next day. Used up like EIGHT packets of tissue yesterday. But despite the flu, I went ahead with my plans and headed down to school.
Thanks gooooodfriend for coming all the way down to school to accompany me to study! It was a great catching up session. And I'll be seeing u again tomorrow! :)

We had a girls night out on Friday.
It has been ages since we last stepped our feet to phuture.
And its not surprising, that phuture is always crowded and surrounded with nsmen.
Down to town to play Left4Dead after taking the chops.
Went back just before 1-4-1 ends for our all time favourite heineken!
Then to the prata shop for mee goreng. And then back to phuture!
That night was very random. Probably is because we had too little drinks.

Bumped into my 159 buddy at the dancefloor and i'm soooo glad to see him.
The last time I saw him was like 2 months ago? And no doubt, this friend of mine has grown from a young boy to a mature man!
Just few months ago, I attended his social night and this coming June, he's going to be commission already. Man, TIME REALLY FLIES!

Left at 330am and headed to the prata shop (again) for some ice milo/coke.
Wee's friends came and slowly one by one joined us. And can you believe it? The whole lot of us were at the prata shop from 345AM to 6AM!
I can't believe we had so much things to talk about till we lost track of the time!
By the time I got home, it's already 645am and thank goodness, my aunty saw me in my home clothes (shorts and t-shirt) if not my ears will probably burst.
Slept for about 6 hours and I headed down to Simei CC to mug for Stats!
Very dissappointed with my stats results! :(

Yes yes, Friday was the LAST girls night out already!
No more partying for the next one month! (L4D will be an exception because I need to de-stress myself!) hah!

JB trip was eventually cancelled. So much of looking forward to it.
No, is not we couldn't make it. We very much wanted to go badly. I even came up with the itinerary and the things to do in JB.
But sadly, we decided to forego the plan because friends around us kept telling us how dangerous it is for JUST THE TWO OF US to travel all the way to JB.
Mr Hi Low was so worried that he provided ten gooooood and I must say quite reasonable reasons for us not to go.
He even sent a link to Fyonne about a few nsmen being robbed.

I was out at Mustafa with A. on Tuesday night and he too told me two of his friends got robbed while they were pumping petrol.
The robbers pointed a knife at their neck and demanded them to empty their wallets.
Though they both had only 30RM, the robbers took all and ran away leaving the two guys at the petrol station without enough petrol to head back to SG.
I don't know what happened to the two guys after that. All I know is, after hearing what A. told me, I got quite worried.
Can you imagine, two guys couldn't even fight back. Let alone us?
And so, after contemplating, we decided to cancel this trip. SIGH! :(

And since our JB plans was cancelled, we decided to go for plan B - Head to Sentosa for a nice tan!
So much of talking about tanning under the sun and lying on the sand, the both of us OVERSLEPT!!!! And yes, plan B was cancelled too!
By then we both were feeling quite bored already because both plans failed.
And so, our last and final plan was to hit to the swimming pool for a nice swim.
We went ahead with out final plan (of cos) and we swam for almost two hours!!! Man, it's my first time swimming at Tampines Sports Complex and I'm amazed by the number of people there.
I don't remember seeing so many people at TPY Sports complex!!!
Fyonne GF swam ten laps within that two hours. GOOD JOB MY DEAR GIRL!
After the swim, I felt very very refresh! I need to start doing more of this activity and start leading a healthy lifestyle!! :)

Had our super late dinner at Ya Kun aftermath.
Headed down to Elias Mall to play Left 4 Dead because that dear girl wanted to play badly. lols!
Was that close in completing the map but sadly, time's up!
By then we were feeling quite sleepy already. Thanks gab for giving us a lift and thanks for joining us for L4D!

Was late for Stats class because I had a hard time waking up. (I'm glad I dragged myself out of the bed though I only slept for like 4 hours)
I don't know why but I'm starting to feel the stress already.
Exam timetables are out and my stress level is double than previous sem! I think I played too much this sem. I'm quite lost in some of the modules.
I SERIOUSLY NEED TO GET MY ASS DOWN AND START STUDYING!!!

And I've learnt a lesson. Sometimes, one need to learn how to say "No"

Just like friends. One minute you're the best of friends, the next minute you're acquaintance.
Sometimes in life, things may not go as planned. One minute you plan to hit to the shopping malls, the next minute you have a call from your friend to hit to the beach. And there, plans changed.
No doubt, everyone of us changed. Everyday in our life, we'll meet new people/new friends and it's not surprising to have friends drifting away from you.
But well, whatever it is, It takes two hands to clap!!

Okie, so Thursday was Stats.
I'm getting a lil bit worried for this module. Don't even know if I will pass the test.
Infact most of the modules for this semester are difficult.
God, PLEASE let me pass through this stage!
Wanted to head down to the IT fair and to the various sales at suntec convention hall but we ended up at ICA building.
Yes, JB trip is confirmed! This coming Wednesday. :)

After settling all the passport stuff, Elaine, Fyonne and myself headed down to Cine to have our very late lunch.
One thing about us is we always dragged our lunchtime till like its almost dinner time. hah! Yesterday was tom yum day! I finally satisfy my cravings for tom yum!
Fyonne headed to work aftermath while E and me caught Marley & Me. It was my first time watching a movie with her and I don't know why, we felt like we were like lesbians in the cinema. hahaha! (Dawnie, you said you can't watch it with me that's why I watched it with my other friends. We watch other movies together okie?)
I told Elaine that I will not cry but who knows, the movie was damn touching and tears rolled down just like that.
In the end, both of us teared. lols. What only!

I'm actually quite tempted to head down to some salon and have my hair cut short.
E and F says it'll make me look younger and livelier.
I'm still contemplating if I should cut. I mean, girls hair is one of the most important asset. I don't wanna cut already then regret. (though I think somehow I would. hah!)
But well, it's time to have a different look....right? :)
I say so much, I don't even know if I want to cut. Or whether will I look good in short hair. heh!

IT fair tomorrow with the bestfriend and probably kenneth as well.
It will be my first time (after sooooooooo long) going to the IT fair as a customer.
Couldn't work this time round because I cannot afford to skip Stats and worse, COMMERCIAL LAW!

On a total irrelevant note, One of my friend in the ns called and asked if he would by any chance see me tomorrow at the platform.
Sadly, I will not be involved in NDP2009! And I thought I could collect all the NDP passes from 2005! :(
So people, do not ask me for NDP tickets this year.
This year, I will probably go online and ballot for it and make my first appearance to the platform as an audience.

It's Friday and surprisingly, I'm home! Yes. I broke record already. I was home on the last two Fridays as well. Three weeks in a row! WOW!

Asthma AGAIN!

This weekend saw too much drinks.
Sex on the beach, tequilla shots, waterfall, etc. At this rate we're drinking, we'll probably kill our liver much earlier.
But I guess drinking once in awhile is ok as long as you don't go to the extend of creating trouble when you're drunk.
I made my first virgin trip to Dbl 0 last weekend.
Been hearing so much about this place and believe it or not, it was my FIRST time visiting dbl 0.
Everyone was telling me how cheap the drinks are and true enough, the drinks are freaking cheap!

Thanks to Christine and her friend; Jason who bought this whole tray of shots that made all of us went "WHAT?? Are you guys serious?"
GF treated the whole lot of us to waterfall. It was my first time tasting as well and I personally hate the taste because it's very very bitter.
I don't understand how can one hold their liquor. I think I'll probably be the first to KO among all my friends. Hah!

Gave Accounting class a miss yesterday because I'm down with sore throat, cough, very very bad flu and slight asthma. NOPE, it's not because of the drinks. Probably is due to lack of sleep? and probably the weather as well.
At night, the family went over to Marriott Hotel for buffet dinner.
It's like an annual thing already. Every once in a year, we'll have dinner at there to celebrate the family members birthday.
This time round was to celebrate KennyLeong (bro-in-law), CherylLeong, StevenLeong (my uncle) and my birthday.
It was my uncle's exact birthday yesterday so it was like a 4-in-one kinda thing.
I love family dinner like this. :)
Last night was the first time I had sooo many slices of sashimi. I'm never a sashimi person because I don't like its fishy taste. But last night, I couldn't believe it myself. I actually ate like 7 slices? Maybe is because my nose was blocked and so I couldn't really taste anything.
Yesterday was called the seafood day! All of our plates were filled with either prawns, sashimis, crayfish, oysters (which until now I cannot stand the smell), etc.
We ate till our stomach was about to burst.

After dinner, all of us went window-shopping at wisma. Then to Borders before calling it a day. :) Went to look for the book 'Yakuza Moon' in the soft cover version but couldn't find it.
A. kept asking me to get the hard cover version because that's the original cover. But the price of the hard cover version is like twice compared to the soft cover!!
Still contemplating if I should get the book.

Today, I skipped Prices & Market class. Partly was because I felt breathless (again) last night and I got to wake up and inhale 4 puffs. Partly was also because my ez-link card has only 6 bucks and partly was also because I had no clothes to wear. (Goodfriend, I learn from you one. HAHA)
Decided to stay at home and rest instead.
The worse thing is now, I'm back on medication again. :(
I have to inhale like 12 puffs a day? 6 puffs on the stronger inhaler and another 6 on the normal inhaler. Sigh!!

Hopefully I'll recover by Thursday because I can't afford to skip school again.

Singapore's weather has been such a mess these days.
Sunny in the day and rainy in the afternoon. Just the other day, I came across a BIG HUGE rainbow when I was opening my room window.
Read the newspaper and many stompers sent in the pictures of the rainbow they snapped to My Paper! Could this rainbow be a good sign for Singapore?
Well, I hope so. Hopefully, Singapore's economy will be better in the years to come.

Mambo-ed last night with the usual mambo gang.
It has been a while since I mambo with zeng zi, adeline and my sister.
Come to think of it, what's wrong with clubbing? I mean, why do people sterotype those who goes clubbing? Not like as if we're there to wait for guys to hook on us and vice versa.
Why can't people go clubbing just to drink, enjoy the music, dance and catch up with friends?
Actually I don't see anything wrong with clubbing when one knows his/her limits. Well, at least for me.
I'm not those kinda girl who will stand at a certain corner and wait for guys to come and talk to me. I'm not those kinda girl who will purposely create attention and most importantly I'm not those kinda girl who will let any tom, dick or harry to touch my waist. (ALL MY GFS CAN VOUCH FOR THIS...RIGHT?)
In my opinion, I think there's nothing wrong with clubbing. Everyone of us has different mindset about something. It's not surprising to hear people calling me 'a flirtatious woman' just because I clubbed. Man! I seriously wonder what's wrong with these people.....

I forced myself to wake up for stats class though I only had like about 4 hours of sleep.
Felt kinda "proud" of myself that I managed to wake up and attend class. And the most surprising thing was I managed to stay awake throughout the whole three hours of lecture! :)

Down to Bugis to give dawnie a surprise visit.
Waited for Miss E to arrive and we went to hunt for cheap thrills. By then, I was feeling a little restless already and so I wasn't really in the mood to shop.
Ride home from Bugis took like forever. I slept throughout the whole journey!

Finally, after sooo long

Internet connection is back after sooooo long.
Initially I thought my sis did not pay for the internet bills but in the end, we realised it was the modem that is at fault.
So, the whole of last week, I was internet-less and away from the cyber world which is a good thing because it helped me to concentrate on my revision.

The whole of last week was what I called the "mugging week."
I had barely 5 hours of sleep everynight. It's term test and yet I'm feeling so stresses/worked up/worried. Can't imagine what will happened during the exam period.
Last week was quite a hectic week for me.
Too many things happened in such a short period of time.
One wrong word and viola, everything changed in just a split second.
Things ain't the same as before. And I have no idea how long will this whole f-up ~~shit~~ issue last but I just hope all of us will get on with our life and forget about all those f-up issues.

Last Wednesday, I headed down to Starbucks to mug for Business Stats test the next day.
When Kenneth came out of the office, he saw me alone and the first thing he asked me when he saw me was "where is your the other friend?" lols. That's always the first thing the starbucks people asked when they see me WITHOUT goodfriend.
Kenneth sat down and we had a little chat. From this little conversation, I could see that he's a super nice guy and a super nice boss!
Before he left for his meeting, he made me this grande ice blended drink with chocolate chip. He said that drink was to encourage me to study hard to relax. He said he could sense that I was stressed up! haha! Soooooo sweet ah! /Thanks boss.

Goodfriend came and we had a short catch up with each other.
It has been a while since I last saw that girl.
We left starbucks at around 7pm and I headed over to Bras Basah to look for Elaine and Fyonne.
They were there mugging for business stats too.

Thank goodness, I managed to catch the last train home.
E and F stayed on till past midnight though.
Sorry girls, din want to stay till so late because I didn't want to cab home!

I think I screwed up the test.
Everyone was "complaining" how difficult the paper was. Hopefully the lecturers will moderate the marks.

Thursday was back to Terminal 2 MacDonalds.
This time round, it was to mug for Commercial Law test on Saturday.
F and I met at around 10+ and we studied all the way till the first bus/train.
By 5am, my brain was not functioning already. There were practically too many cases to remember.
The moment I got home, I concussed all the way till 530pm!!!

The whole of Friday was spent memorising the respective cases.
Somehow I'm glad the modem was down. It did help me to sit down and concentrate on my revision. heehee!
I became the baby-sitter at night because the adults had cell group over at my place.
I was the only youth at home that night. Bimboleong was sleeping so soundly that even when baby jacynth was shouting in her room, she did not even wake up.

So yup, I took care of baby jacynth from 830pm all the way to 10pm while her parents attend cell group. Surprisingly, she was a good girl that night.
And I continued reading my notes till about 2AM.

Law test was okay. But somehow I think I did badly.
I must admit Law ain't easy. Infact I think this module is the most difficult module so far.
I hope I can at least score for the offer and acceptance case.
Down to town aftermath with E, F and J.
Need to relax abit since the most difficult test is over.
We had mee rubus, pineapple rice, egg oysters and otah for dinner.
It was a simple but yet delicious dinner. :)

After dinner, we went to play Left 4 Dead!
Yes, FOUR of us! I think there were only eight girls in the lan shop.
Jeane has officially joined the L4D gang! YAY!! I think we 4 can form a L4D team already. hahaha!
We played for two hours and sadly, we couldn't cross the hospital and church map! :(
E, F and Jeane went to DXO while I head home because I was feeling super sleepy.

Sunday was Slumdog Millionaire with A. :)
I made a big huge careless mistake on Monday during accounting test.
I felt so stupid and careless after I handed in the question paper!
Now, I'm feeling worried about accounting. SIGH!
Tuesday's Prices & Markets test was alright.
Soooo many tests in a week. My gosh! That explains my super terrible eye bags and dark circles!!!

And I finally met the womanilove today after soooo long.
That girl kept insisting on eating Gelare and at the same time, kept complaining she's fat. TSK!
Down to starbucks to meet goodfriend and we had the famous chicken rice for dinner (again).

Now that tests are over (though there's one more P&M test in two weeks time), I need to get back my sleep and start studying for Exam which is in a month's time.
I cannot afford to fail anymore modules!!

Looking forward for JB trip with GF next Wednesday! :)

Zouk on Friday night with the uni mates after soooooo long.
The night before, I stayed up till 530AM to mug for my accounting test. Also, to write notes and do some revision because I reckon I won't be studying during the weekends.
Thursday after school, E and myself accompanied Fyonne down to Tanjong Pagar for her dental appointment. Someone's gonna put braces! haha! Let's go for crab session before you have ur braces on! :) While waiting for her, F's friend brought us to his parents restaurant at Duxton Road. The name of the restaurant is Roadhouse Grill. Go and check it out.
A nice place to chill after one whole long day at work. :)

We had our late dinner at Katong. Went to have the very famous Katong Laksa.
Been wanting to eat it since ages ago but that SOMEONE too busy. tsk tsk tsk!
We Couldn't find other things to do at Katong end up, we went to play Left 4 Dead (again) since we had 4 players. And we were that close in completing the stage!!!
I hope I won't end up becoming a game freak.
E and F, we need another girl in our team so that we can form a Left 4 Dead female team!!! Maybe we can teach Jeane how to play and get her to join us! Sounds cool huh? lols.

Communication. What does it actually mean? It is more than just speaking. It's listening. And it's more than just listening; it's understanding and properly responding to what we've heard.
Clear communucation occurs when two people know not only what to say, but when and how to say it.
Why is it that when we think of communication, we usually picture ourselves talking? The answer is fairly clear.
We think what we have to say is pretty important. Infact, more important than what others have to tell us.

Often the best thing we can do with our lips is to keep them SEALED.

TAO HUAY!

The above picture was taken last night at 230AM at Geylang Lorong 27A.
The K-box king and queen were the one who wanted to take a picture with him and the funny part was they used my name to snap a pic with him.
For 5 mins, there were some "arguments" between Hi Low and me on who will be the photographer. hah! Finally after some time, Hi went up to JJ and asked if we could take a picture with him.
I was prepared to be the photographer but JJ's friend volunteered to take a pic for us instead. While his friend was preparing to take the camera from Hi's hand, Hi Low said "Gladys, come. Don't be shy! I know you want to take. COME COME!" and he "ran away". VERY FUNNY AH MR HI LOW!
Firstly, I don't really know who this JJ guy is except for the fact that he's a local singer.
Secondly, I don't even know what song he sang except for one of the National Day Theme Song; Home.
It's only last night then I know that he's famous in Taiwan.
Fyonne and Hi said I even posed for the camera! wth loh. I was just putting my hands on my waist leh. And maybe because JJ thought I was really the one who wanted to snap a pic with him that's why his thumb was pointing at me!
The whole incident was super funny. We couldn't stop laughing even after JJ left. goodness!

Before we went Geylang, we were at one of the LAN shop at Katong, playing Left 4 Dead!
I cannot believe I actually went to a LAN shop to play LAN game. (Cine not counted)
Man, I think the people in the lan shop has serious hearing problems. Their speaker volume is on to the maximum! Can u imagine how loud was it when one is killing zombies?
We played for two hours and when we left the place, my ear was on the verge of bursting and every human to us look like zombies. hahaha!

Yep, we're back to the same old mugging place.
Hi went there to sleep while F went to study/copy notes and me, attempting to study.
Managed to read topics 1-3 of accounting. But, i wasn't really concentrating on what I was reading. Maybe it's because I had a long day in school the previous day as E, Jeane and myself stayed back after school till about 630PM to study!

Three tests next week and I'm very very worried for my Law test!

Saturday during commercial law lecture, everyone were busy talking about their after class plans. I think alot of people wasn't really paying attention to what the lecturer was talking.
Alot of girls were nicely dressed.
Everyone was busy exchanging small little gifts. Lollipops, heart shaped mini muffins, flowers, chocolates, etc.
These little actions indeed shows that our OG people cares for one another. :)
And it also brought me to think back about my secondary school days where we'll exchange small little gifts with one another.
So, who says Valentine's Day are for lovers? To me, it's more like a Friendship day whereby you go around showing your little appreciation to the friends around you.
Being the lazy me, I've stopped doing gifts but I know my friends will understand. heehee!

I left class at around 415pm instead of 5pm.
Rushed down to Tampines with my super duper heavy bag.
Heard from a friend of mine that barely 5 mins after class end, the lecture hall was like a ghost town.
Everyone was gone within 2 mins. haha!
Having lessson on a Saturday totally sucks.

Okie, here it goes. Love is in the air on Saturday was alright.
I was actually looking forward to seeing the adults dressed in the 70s but sadly, not all were dressed up to the theme.
The youths on the other hand was amazing. Especially bimbo leong. She wore a tiger prints BELL BOTTOM! You tell me, who will actually wear a bell bottom jeans out now? lols.

Adults are at war AGAIN

I woke up this afternoon by a loud bang.
I opened my room door only to realise that damn, the adults are at war again. Not like it's anything new. But it's at the wrong time.
Why must it be on 14th February? I thought 14th February is the day to celebrate Love?
I was quite reluctant to attend school for fear that the adults will end up hitting one another but on the other hand, I don't wanna end up being caught in between of their war.
I cannot stand it when things start to turn nasty.
Tables banged, cupboards banged, doors banged, EVERYTHING!
Why can't adults settle their disputes in a nicer way? Is venting anger on someone else or banging tables here and there a good way to let off your anger?

Prior to the above question, adults always think they are right. Why do I say so?
When we, the kids, slammed our door, we'll get a big scolding. When we vent our anger on the table or whatever things you can find in the house, we'll get yet another scolding.
So, am I right to say that if the adults are angry, they are by default allowed to vent their angers on anything?
Well, that's always the case isin't it? Which child would actually defy their parents?
Maybe to a certain extent, some child will dare to even go against their parents.
For me, it's a "special" case because I've never lived with my parents since young.

It's true that every household has their own individual problems.
I always wonder when other families are at war, do they bring the kids in to the picture as well?
I remembered few years back, I received an awesome email about family. What does family actually stands for?
Most of you might have already known, it actually stands for Father And Mother I Love You!
The person who came up with this is indeed awesome!

Though I don't know how long the war will last or how many more wars there will be, I believe God has his reasons for placing me in this family.
And nope, please do not think I'm very pitiful or am asking for sympathy, (all you wreaklings who looked down on me or are happily smiling/laughing, you can go on and continue doing what you are doing because you are only making me stronger and I got to thank YOU for that) I'm happy with my life and I'm glad I've learnt to be independent through all these incidents.

Recently, as most of my friends already know, I had my asthma attack few nights back.
Thank God I'm feeling alot better now compared to previous nights.
Thanks for all the concern my dear friends. Really appreciate it. And not forgetting the family members as well.
I sent a msg to my bro one night telling him thanks for that day (the day I went to see the doc), he replied "Don't be mad. You are my sister. If I don't take care of you, who will? Sleep early and rest well." I teared.
Like I said many times and I'm going to say it once more, you don't need to be rich or to brag about the things you have to be happy.
I'm happy and contented enough to receive that short little sms from someone whom I hardly had any communication with.
Actually, come to think of it, I think I get contented easily. heh!

Last week, Elaine, Fyonne and myself dragged Cherie to town with us.
We introduced Left 4 Dead to her. hahahaha! And poor girl, she had motion sickness after that. /We're so sorry Cherie. But hey, hope you had fun hanging out with us! :)

This time round, instead of playing cards, we played Wii.
From tennis to boxing to cooking mama to who has the smartest brain. Sab's nephew; Brayden kept all of us busy. We were practically running around the room, playing with the small lil boy. The last time we went to her place, Brayden was still crawling. Man, we're turning old.

Asthma attack!

Last night was scary.
I felt like I was on the verge of death.
I couldn't sleep because I was feeling breatheless. YES, BREATHLESS!
I kept waking up in the middle of the night to use the inhaler but it doesn't seems to work.
Despite the breathless-ness, I still went ahead for accounting class because I told myself I cannot fail this module anymore.
During the whole three hours of lecture, Elaine could actually hear the whizzing sound coming out from my mouth. And I had difficulty talking to her.
I was feeling so breathless till I took a cab down to Toa Payoh to see Dr Koh.
Thanks to Elaine who accompanied me all the way to Dr Koh's Clinic and I felt bad for making you wait with me till the clinic open. I felt even more bad that you got to walk all the way out yourself to take the bus.
Nonetheless, thank you sooooooooo much! I really appreciate it. :) loves!

Called my sister to check if she could give me a lift home but well, she's busy.
Decided to call my brother and I'm surprised he drove all the way from his workplace to Dr Koh's clinic to look for me.
I felt bad that he waited for me for nearly 1 1/2 hours doing nothing.
What surprised me more was that my bro actually paid for my medical bills.!!!!
I never dare to take money from him and I hardly talk to my brother at home. So, him paying for me is like a big hoo haa!

Dr Koh said I have weak lungs. And the normal inhaler is not working on me anymore. :(
He gave me another inhaler which is stronger than the normal one. And this made me worried.
I can't help but kept thinking "what if my future kids inherit asthma from me?"
I remembered someone telling me, one can die from asthma. Is it true?

Being an asthmatic patient is no joke.

Lately, I have no idea what am I up to.
All I know is TIME zoom past so fast.
It kept me thinking "Wow, school has already started for about a month and till now, I've not started revising any of the modules."
These few days is what I call 'the feeling down' days. Frankly speaking, I have no idea why am I feeling this way. You may call it mood swings which is caused by "that time of the month" but nope, it is not because of "that time of the month" which caused this unhappiness. Probably is caused by what I call the weird emotions.

I remembered during one of the weekdays (last week), I was feeling down/bored and I desperately needed someone to hang out with me. I looked through my phone list, scrolled down from A-Z, sent out a few msg to friends I thought of. (Thanks to those who replied)
Those who didn't, I understand you have other priorities. Wild thoughts came into my mind. Thoughts like "they would rather hang out with their boyfriend than hanging out with someone they knew way before they and their boyfriend got together." or thoughts like "They don't feel like going out so, they're trying to come out with an excuse." etc.
This is when you start to think about the good old times.
Well, friends come and go! This is part and parcel of life.
I've learnt to let go certain people in my life.
I had my fair share of 'broken' friendship and through this, I've learnt how to treasure the people around me.

Sometimes, it is difficult to treasure certain people. (I know this is very contradicting!)
But then again, it kept me thinking "are these people worth to be treasured?"
Hmmm....in reference to that question, up till now, I have no idea.

Now, to other happier stuff.
The weekends was spent at various friends house. Visitation, Oranges, Pineapple tarts, packet drinks, etc.
I cannot imagine the chinese new year vibe is ending in a few days. SEE, TIME FLIES!
I had my first gambling session over at Melvin's place. For your info, gambling was the last thing I could think of. I don't gamble and even IF I did, my minimum would be 20 cents. Over at mel's place, we played black jack and because of me, they set the minimum bet to $2!! (To me, $2 is VERY high.) and true enough, I lost all my cash at hand which is 14 bucks. :(
After mel's place, was bestfriend's place. Thank goodness her parents were busy entertaining their friends if not I think dawnie's dad will probably ask us to play black jack.
In conclusion, 2009 CNY is boring!

Tuesday was spent with the dearests.
City Plaza was our first destination. (Womanilove, it's time we hit city plaza soon!)
Searching for cheap thrills is our forte. Who doesn't like cheap thrills?

Headed down to Geylang No Signboard! I heard the food there is delicious and since I've not been there before, we decided to give it a try.
We walk through all the "dirty" lanes to get to that place because we were busy talking till we alighted at the wrong stop.
You can imagine the number of stares from those tiko uncles!

It is one of those "I'm feeling so down again" days.
Plans failed.
Friends drifted.
People changed.
Emotions creeped in.

It sucks having to put up that 'brave' front infront of your friends when you know deep down you are not that brave.
It sucks having to put up that cheerful mask infront of your friends when you know deep down you are not that cheerful.
It sucks having to put up that "I am okay / I am perfectly fine" face infront of your friends when you know deep down you are not fine.
It sucks having to tell someone to "give up on me" when you know deep down you don't want that person to.

Life's like this.
There will bound to be some down moments in your life.

Man, it is indeed one of those "I'm feeling so down again" days and indeed it sucks.

For the first time in my life, I celebrated a birthday on a yacht. Yes, a yacht!
It was a surprise birthday party for my cousin aka my room mate who turned 23 yesterday.
People who turned up were mainly her secondary school mates and their other halves. I was the only family member there. Thank goodness all of us were from the same secondary school if not I think I'll die of boredom.
And yes, we had the entire yacht to ourselves. How cool is that? heh!

We set off at around 730pm and got back to the pier at around close to midnight.
The yacht stopped at this island in the middle of nowhere. As it was quite dark, some of the girls decided to go skinny dipping.
I wouldn't mind skinny dipping IF I knew how to swim.

I couldn't wake up for lesson today because I was way too tired.
I tried to set my alarm as early as 730am but I failed.
And I had a very weird dream last night. In my dream, some weird looking fella was talking to me about Change.
In my dream, this weird fella told me it's very contradicting to tell people that you want to change and yet you don't show it.
He then went on lecturing on the important factors of change. I couldn't remember what was it. All I know was, this weird fella kept focusing on the word change.
Was he implying on something?

Well, Change takes place everywhere, everday.
People change. Everyone change.
You know it, I know it but yet neither of us are acknowledging it.

Boring CNY

2009 is prolly one of the most boring CNY ever.
Very few relatives came over this year because they had other family gatherings.
With my ten fingers, I could easily count the number of visitors that came to our place.
Maybe that is the reason why I'm not enjoying this year's CNY at all.
Another reason is probably due to the"war" which happened in the family during the eve of CNY.
I don't know if the adults are putting up a mask infront of us? But I'm glad my aunt and uncle are now on talking terms.
Past three days at home was super boring.
Nope, I did not visit anyone!
Every year, the relatives will gather at my place but this year, like I said, most of them couldn't make it due to other family gatherings.

Wanted to head over to some friends' place but seems like everyone has their own plans this year.
I hate planning for gatherings because it's always difficult to have a full attendance.
This CNY is indeed a boring one.
It's just like any normal days when I don't have to attend school.
I was soooo bored at home till I took out my commercial law lecture notes and write notes on it. YES, I WAS THAT BORED!
And I realised I'm actually quite a homely person. Hah!

After CNY, my timetable will be packed already.
And this year, I'm going to make my resolution come true - I will be early for lesson and will be extra attentive during lectures!
And I will make it a point to revise my work everyday! :)

Business Stats

Business Statistics today was okay.
I never expect myself to end up in a business course because firstly, I'm not really interested in business. Secondly, I'm not a business person.
But surprisingly, I'm beginning to enjoy this course and I think business stats is quite a challenging module.
I'm glad I was early for lecture today. Prolly is because I slacked too much last week.
(Not like I want to. It's because I don't have any lessons last week.)
I managed to wake up at 1130AM despite the fact that I got home at around 430am the previous night and surprisingly, I DID NOT FALL ASLEEP AT ALL! :)

Steamboat yesterday with cher and pris at Bugis Chong Qing.
Dawnie couldn't join us because of some family matters. (Hope you're feeling fine girl)
I ate $18 worth of la las, fishballs, cuttlefish, mushrooms and crabs.
After yesterday, I realised I do eat ALOT actually because the both of them were practically starring at me gobbling down the la las and cuttlefish and I made the both of them wait for me to fill my stomach.
I was still happily eating when the both of them says they are full.
So, who says I don't eat? heh!
I was quite surprised myself that I was actually the "last one standing." lols!

I don't know if I did say this before. Fishball is actually my favourite food

The girls left for their own activities while I headed down to zouk to look for the mambo queens. (it has been a while since I last mambo-ed)
I'M SUPER HAPPY TO SEE MY SIS AND BRO-IN-LAW back in Singapore after their one whole month of honeymoon! They sure have lots to talk about when they go church this sunday. And I reckon, they will be super busy answering all the aunties questions on sunday.
It's always fun to mambo with them and the rest of the gang!
E and F joined us too and that makes it even more fun!! :)

Cheap Monday

Haji Lane with the womanilove yesterday.
We spent the entire day roaming around Bugis hunting for cheap thrills and we're very very happy with our buys. :)
Poor TanWeishan, she got stepped many times and people who stepped her never even apologise. Instead, they pushed us aside and continued with their shopping. tsk!

We spent about 4 hours walking around Bugis Street.
I cannot imagine I spent sooooo much time there.
The crowd was crazy. Every stall is blasting their music.
Everywhere you go, you can hear people shouting "Ten dollars, Ten dollars only. All new arrivals. Come in and take a look." If not, there will be people blasting CNY songs at the loudest volume ever.
If it's not for cheap thrills, I wouldn't be there.
The crowd was madness! I feel like as though I'm stucked in a room with no doors.

Decided to head down to Cheeeeeeenatown (Again) because TWS needs to get some decorations.
Before that, we had our super budget dinner.
We were like some office lady who just got retrenched, going around hunting for jobs. haha!

Actually come to think of it, I think I prefer dining at hawker centre/coffeeshop rather than expensive restaurants?

Like I said, you don't need to be rich to be happy. You don't need to brag about the things you owned to be happy. There are other more stuff for you to be happy about.
I just don't understand why certain people like to brag about their rich lives? Issit already in them?
No, I'm not saying this because I'm jealous or whatsoever. Envy? Of cos NOT as well.
Is just that I cannot stand the way certain people are "acting" infront of me (and prolly my friends as well)

There are too many two-faced people in this world.
I admit, I'm one of them too.
I mean, everyone of us are different when at home and outside.
But well at least, I take criticism and I try my best to change whatever bad attitude/character that is in me.
I just don't understand why certain people just don't get the point?
Do they really think people looked up to them because they are wealthy?
Gosh, I just hope one day they will come to their senses and reflect on themselves.
Man, why am I starting this whole topic again?

Ok anyways, TanWeishan and I headed down to Cheeeeenatown after our dinner.
We went around searching for nice decorations for her house.
And like Bugis, the crowd was crazy. Infact, worse than Bugis.
But the good thing is, I could feel the CNY mood. :)
Every stall was selling their goodies at 100g for $1. Freaking cheap I tell you.
Every stall were practically using the loud haler and shouting here and there, snatching customers.

Anyways, that man was super funny. I think he recognised us because we went chinatown few weeks back. He kept opening the goodies for us to try the flavours and he even told TanWeishan aka HONEY (*inside thing) that she could open anything she wants.
And that woman, instead of saying thanks, she asked the guy to help us take a picture.

What only!
I purchased 200g of goodies from him. Felt so bad because he opened almost all the flavours for us to try.

Can't wait for New Year to arrive because I'm freaking broke to the power of 100.
The girls haven't plan whose place to visit yet. Prolly sab's house again this year. Yeah, twister, mahjong, 21. Whoo Hoo! Can't Wait.

And yes, sis and bro-in-law will be coming back this Wednesday.
Like finally, after one whole month of honeymoon!
I bet they will be very busy when they attend service this sunday. Hah!

CHARACTER? It takes time

It takes time to know someone's real character and attitude.
Sometimes, its ~~really~~ difficult to be friends with someone who has terrible character AND attitude.
It's also difficult to tell that someone how bad his/her attitude is.
It's even more difficult when after telling, he/she don't understand at all.
Like what I said in my previous post, my tolerance level has already reached the peak of the moutain and it will burst anytime!
I think I'm on the verge of letting IT go and giving this whole ~~shit~~ issue up.

Nevertheless, I'm glad I have friends out there who somehow played a part to distract me from thinking about all this f-up issues. :)

Dawnie delivered double cheese burger meal to my house on Wednesday.
After which, we headed down to Century Square to do some CNY shopping.
Bumped into Joel and everytime I see my (central side) friends, they'll always asked me the same old question, "So, TM and Century Sqaure is your new hang out place is it?" heh!
It's so weird to see him in the east and I'm glad we did some little catch up.
Down to Suntec aftermath to meet Irvin for a post-birthday celebration dinner at Crystal Jade.

Thursday was 'sisters' day!
Finally met up with Victor; the sister for dinner to catch up with one another.
Liang Lin joined us and we had a gooooooooooooooood long talk from Far East all the way to Grand Cathay where we went to look for Dawnie at Gramophone.
Womanilove couldn't join us because she got to rush home to give tuition. (too bad, if not she could have join in the fun)

Somehow I think after TanWeiShan rebonded and cut her hair, she looks ALITTLE bit like LL. HAHA!

Friday was spent at the Zoo with my (*coughs) tall, slim and graceful Goodfriend and Tommy.
Tommy has free complimentary pass to the zoo and he can bring two friends along.
And so, I invited goodfriend along with us (sorry Chloe darling, I was supposed to go with you but I reckon, you will be at work) and I'm glad the both of them could talk so well.
We met at AMK station at around 130pm. Took 138 down to Zoo, settled our lunch at KFC and started on the animal trail. :)

I cannot remember when was the last time I stepped my feet into the Zoo.
Man, when I reached the entrance, I was amazed by how much Zoo has changed over the years.
Finally after soooooooooo long, I had the chance to vist the Zoo once again. (Thanks to Tommy)

They have new animal shows now. And the seats are much more cleaner than before.

Thank goodness goodfriend booked tables if not I think we'll prolly queue till 12 midnight.
And we had very gooooood view. Just directly infront of the stage!!
I still prefer heading to Timbre on a Saturday night. Prolly is because I prefer Goodfellas to 53A.
ALVIN ONG came and joined us at around 9+.
Yes, that's right. ALVIN ONG. I was shocked that he still came down after knowing that TanWeiShan couldn't make it.
It's very weird to have him hanging out with just the both of us! But wells, I'm glad the night went well.
