Work is a torture. I'm not kidding.EVERY morning, I dragged my lazy body out of the bed and in to the bathroom.
I became a very kiasu singaporean by trying to squeeze on the train with everybody.
I became someone who is addicted to coffee.
Ever since I worked at Sun, i've lost track of entertainment.
Entertainment as in the latest movies, latest chill out places and etc.
Worst, i've not stepped into town for decades. Except on Tuesday when i met dear Chloe for some catching up session.
So, i had a very busy week.
Monday was dinner with HauTeng, mini fellowship with one another.
Tuesday was dinner with Chloe. Was nice catching up with her. (as usual) :)
Wednesday was Broadway Beng 3 Musical at National Library Board Drama Centre with Sis, Kenny, Nowell, Em and Char1.
It was my virgin trip to a musical like these. And i'm amazed by Sebastian Tan's voice.
The musical was sooooo funny that i laughed till i went breathless. It was awesome.!!!
Then it was Dian Xin at Geylang, yummy yum yum.
Thursday was the choosing wedding gown day. NONONO! I'm not getting married. No boyfriend how to marry? hehe.
I took half day leave and went over to Liang Seah Street to choose sis wedding gown; together with zi, vic and hazel.
The whole process was damn tiring. And i thought two hours was looong, I was sooo wrong.
When Zi and myself left, THEY WERE STILL INSIDE THE BRIDAL SHOP!
My sis says i cannot post some pics up. So, sis i'm just going to post NICE pictures of you! :)
The Shop din allow photo-taking. But Vic and myself din bother. We camwhore secretly like nobody's business. LOLS.
Then, it was off to Timbre to meet Goodfriend and Duffy Love; my new friend. :)
So sorry for making you girls wait for me.
The purpose of us meeting up is to chill and hear the live band sing.
But the band only came at around 930pm and they only started playing at around 1015pm?
We left after they played their first song cos all of us were super tired. ESPECIALLY ME!
And yes, the next day i kept falling alseep in the office.
When it was about to knock off, i realised the database file that i've been working on since last week, WAS THE WRONG BLOODY FILE! ALL ALONG I DID THE WRONG DATABASE FILE.!
Am I smart or what?
Because of me, my supervisor couldn't hand in the report to her boss on time.
Gosh, I think i'm a total failure. I can't even do a simple report right!
I spent like almost a week (AND it's going to complete SOON) to finish up the report and now, i got to REDO the whole report all over again.
My supervisor asked me to continue on Tuesday instead. But when she was talking to me, i could sense that she was somehow QUITE angry? with me?
WHY DIDN'T I CHECK? WHY DID I CHECK ONLY WHEN IT'S 15 MINS BEFORE WORK ENDS?
See, i can't even do a simple thing right! Tell me, when was i successful? SIGH!
And because of the redundant report that i did, i stayed back in office till about 645pm, trying to do as much as possible on the new report.
And as a result, i was late for prawning session.
I'm sorry once again for letting you guys wait for me.
Since I'm quite excited about prawning, i've decided NOT to talk about work the entire night.
And yes, I finally went prawning!!!!
I've ALWAYS wanted to try prawning but i couldn't find any khakis. And since my dear nuggets boyfriend is quite experienced, we decided to make a trip down to Bishan for some prawn catching session.
WAH LAU, the people who went are ALL REAL couples lor.
Only Smelly Turtle and myself are not. HAHA!
And so, we acted like we are couple. But then again, smelly always tell people we are 'together' and I'm so sure Ros will start questioning me after she read this post. HAHA!
I only managed to catch one pathetic prawn. hah!
The whole process speaks about PATIENCE. Though it was only that one pathetic prawn, i had FUN!
And it was Thomson Prata House after that.
I think that somehow sums up my entire week.
NDP Practice in 7 hours time. Which means, i've got to wake up in 5 hours time!
Looks like my eyebags can never be gone. . .
